Noticed a few rumours going around (various other forums) that Peter Lorimer may have resigned as a Director of Leeds United. I can't confirm this has taken place and wonder if anyone has any inside information or heard more about this rumour? I have to say that I really hope it is true and that Lorimer now leaves Leeds United alone, never to return, unless as a supporter of the football team.
Anything on why he would resign? He sold his soul, is he now turning the corner? Everyone is offered redemption. Or has he been booted as just a psychophant?
It appears some believe he has quit as he may have been asked to do, as part of the takeover. I'm not really buying into this takeover stuff and so have to admit to being somewhat suspicious of the rumour about Lorimer. Just wonder if anyone had some factual information?
Shouldn't be too difficult for some of the local Leeds lads to pop into his pub and ask him, or does he spend any time in the pub trade these days
One of the rumours on one of the websites, states that Lorimer was not in his bar tonight as he was attending a meeting regarding his position at Leeds United.
What I'm hearing is that Lorimer has resigned and possibly Harvey too. We'll see. I refuse to let anything put me up or down these days.
