If Lambert has one ounce of respect for us he'll keep the hell away from our squad, just remember a lot of our players still have years on their contracts so McNally will sting Villa if they attempt to buy anyone from us.

 

all our main players are on big contracts. we're in a strong position. The headline "Lambert can raid our players" is a bit overzealous because any team could raid us. I agree. Pilkington has easily banged £10 million on his price tag in a matter of a season some people may think that price tag is a bit delusional but in comparison to some wingers who are well over priced that's quite cheap, I'd never sell him though easily one of our best players.
