If we get to the Final the greedy grasping self-serving sh*tbags will be all over it like a rash...

If we get to the final, all the disillusioned fans that have stayed at home will be fighting for tickets. But there's no chance, is there?

Just seen the England match dates - I will only be able to see the Sweden game 'live' on Telly because of travel for work. Instant thought was 'great, don't have to sit through that agony', but now convinced that it means we will win these games and quite probably play well. Also away for the final stages of the competition. In a cosmic application of Sod's Law, we are bound to win the ****ing thing, and I'll miss the lot.

I don't think you'll miss anything much Silvio, perhaps a draw against Ukraine, but reckon both France and Sweden will take us apart.

Will do Staines, though I'm afraid I avoid our national carrier where possible, and fly from my local airport, Brum, if I can. Terminal 1 on Monday, United to the US. BA usually to Madrid, though I get pissed off when the flight is actually operated by Iberia, which is crap. Rights and wrongs of your industrial action sometime back to one side, I'm sure it's put a few business travelers off.

You're not wrong on all your points there SB. Our industrial problems lost us a lot of passengers like yourself but slowly and surely we are winning a lot back, besides what more could you ask for when you have people like me to help you :). Agree with the Iberia thing but again gonna take time to change the whole Spanish culture in the running of an Airline BUT we are getting there. It's a hard slog and definately isn't gonna happen over night.

Respect to Van Bommel for being so direct with his response to the racist crap at the Dutch training session. fact that UEFA denied it happened is beyond belief, or it would be if it wasn't UEFA.

I hope I am proved wrong but I have a horrible feeling about this tournament. If teams are taken off the pitch because of racist chanting, what happens then? Are they persuaded to go back on for more of it? Is the game abandoned? Who wins - there's no time for replays. Upside is that UEFA is already digging it's own grave even deeper.

DT what has happened to Platini? He was a sublime player, came into this job like a breath of fresh air and is now in bed with Blatter, in denial that UEFA can make a mistake and avoiding any kind of responsibility for anything.

The decision to go to Poland/Ukraine was taken before Platini took the job so he has a perfect excuse...
