Not even rising to this blatant wind up, must try harder.

No money>!?!?!?! It's already been said we have a budget 10m larger than last season where we spend £15 odd million.

'First season syndrome' LOL....clutch those straws.

I don't see Culverhouse and Karsa staying with Hughton bringing in his own back room staff. Culverhouse won't like going from being an assistant to just a coach. As for Karsa I think his position was just made up as I still don't know what he did so I think that position may not still be there!

Relegation to League 1 so they can get a few wins the year after I'd imagine.

Ipswich have 18 players at the minute, all of which can only be described as "****" so I think getting a few might be a priority in the not too distant future.

battersea I've had a bit of correspondence with Clegg and I have to say I'm thrilled with what's happening now. The short-term thinking and signing Premier League also rans is very much a thing of the past.

Klug (who was responsible for loads of Youth players from the end of the 80s to mid-2000s including Wright, Dyer, Bent and the FA Youth Cup winning side) coming back from Spurs to run the academy is far more important than any signing we make.

I will be happy with a top half finish and continued progression with bringing talented youngsters through. Signing the lad from Macclesfield was exactly what we want, if we get the Gills keeper this summer I'll be made up with just those two <ok>

<doh> i'm really not sure why you are bothering. none of us fall for what you are saying. we know our club way better than you do, that's for sure. lambert has been replaced by another good manager, holt may or may not leave, either way we'll either have a 15-goal striker or about £6m in the bank, we've got about £20m to spend on new players and an already good squad of players in place, which will no doubt be built on by our new manager. we've made our youth setup better than yours, our ground will soon be bigger than yours, all three of our goalkeepers are better than lee barrett <laugh> but don't worry yorkie, you've still got those three trophies locked in your boardroom... they should help you out <ok>

McNally is just being a * now, not letting Culverhouse and Karsa (making them absorb with Hughton's team) go so he can get more compo.

    A Villa fan.

That is REALLY clutching at straws, do you know that there is an FA Youth Cup each year? Hardly making us Canaries tremble, but I suppose that calibre of staff must excite you Binners, my how times have changed!

on a side note, may i just say that i'm sure you're very happy to have bryan klug back on board. i know the guy well and he is a great addition to your setup. never quite understood why he was dispensed with in the first place! give him five years and he may just produce you another couple of gems <ok>

i wouldn't go dissing a youth cup win! its quite an achievement to win that thing. not that ipswich made any use out of winning theirs - none of their players really went on to anything special and most of them don't even play professionally.

Hughton is a good manager and i think he'll do ok for you but i think your might struggle next season . There is always a transition period when a new manager takes over its not like bedding in a player. You will miss Lambert...

don't teams usually get a lift from a new manager??

either way, i think it's inevitable we'll 'struggle' if thats what you want to call it - we'll be one of the contenders for the drop but that doesn't mean we'll go down - we've only got to finish above three teams for the season to have been a success remember! if we can get safe as quick as we can, just like last season, then we may be able to build on 12th but our main aim is to stay up, that's all. its sad i know, but its all about getting the tv money for another year - then the club can put into place its plans for stadium expansion. we'll be debt free (this is regardless of staying up/relegation) so things are looking good <ok>

So just to clarify, we're forced to pay of our debt whether we survive or go down? I wasn't sure if it was dependent on being on the premier league in the 2013-14 season. Still best to pay it off anyway, but just out of curiosity really.

its nothing to worry about! our debt is paid in full next april so if we go down we are debt free with parachute payments to follow. if, sorry, when we stay up, we'll have an extra £40m+ in the bank. guaranteed debt-free from the beginning of the 2013-14 season <ok>

Correct me if I'm wrong (and I'd like to be put straight if I am), by next April we will be clear of all "external" debt, that is all money owing to external creditors. But we will still have "internal" debt owed to shareholders, in particular the club owners? I have heard said that they currently have no intention of calling in the debt, but I would hope that they too will be in line to have their debt reduced over time. We fans get apoplectic at the thought of owners making money out of clubs (how many in fact do; not many), and rather take for granted owners dipping deep into their own pockets.

i can't speak for the shareholders but as i understand it they have absolutely no desire to get a penny of their investment back at this time. that may change in the future, i don't know, but previously it was only to be called back at such a time that the club's ownership changed. but yes, you are totally right - the club will still have that internal debt but that is not an issue... and i agree, the directors should receive some reward for their efforts and for bailing us out, time and time again.
