He's much too good for Norwich, he'd need surgery of 3/4 of his brain to fit in there. They ought to be dead happy to get someone like him.
Well thats a better appointment than they could have expected. Still feel they're going to struggle next season especially with the Pieman off
Present thinking - Wigan and Norwich for the drop, and Swansea/Reading to battle it out for 18th place
Turned down by their ex number 2, now number 2 at Wigan. Bergkamp mentioned ( though he has said he doesn't want to manage), Lothtorn/Northolt suggesting Ollie to them. Lot of teams in the mix for relegation next year. But not us.
I feel your confidence SB I really do but we are QPR so almost any calamity could yet land upon us..... I think Swansea under a new manager / style of play will really suffer. Sigguardsson (sp) was the ace for them along with Sinclair. Siggy off to wreck his career at Liverpool and I still reckon Sinclair will go to Sunderland / Toon / Everton
cheers swords. Gives us much more of a chance next year than we looked like having. Love how quickly we sorted it out, six days!
I was hoping for Bruce, they should stay up but no one seems to want to go to Swansea so they could be in real trouble if they appoint the wrong guy. Anyone read Rodgers letter? Im sure he said he was proud to bring exciting attacking football to swansea, my arse he did.
Hughton a good pick for Norwich, though he's cost them £2m of their transfer kitty. The Toon lads definitely rate him, and he did a great job in chaotic times there and at Birmingham. He deserves some stability, the biggest block on Norwich though is their wage cap, which is admirable but limiting.
Indeed it os SB. A reported £15k / week wage cap won't get enough talent moving East although Houghton has already said he'll be buying abroad. Perrone, Pellicori & Di Carmine??
