Wasn't Stephane G'uivarche a highly rated french international forward signed at the tender age of 27 right after a major tournament? ..... his record in ligue 1 prior to that was even more impressive than giroud.
We arent interested him based on 1 tournament, thats good news as you risk buying a flash in the pan. Giroud is no Guivarche id they rate him at £50m and all the top clubs are interested, hes too good for us. Id pop a chubby if we signed him.

Park Arshavin (winger?) Campbell Vela If Chamakh and Bendtner are leaving, then I can see them signing Giroud and RVP staying. Did Park even get a game last season!?
Arshavin is going to ZSP and Bendtner is probably off but they will have 3 top class forwards if they sign Giroud and they only play 1 up front, thats not even counting the supporting/wide forwards.
