I doubt we would have a chance Dave. There must be so many other top flight clubs trying to secure his "services".

The compensation for hughton and his staff has been quoted as around 2.5million pounds

If we wanted paul Jewell and his "staff" (love to know who did the defence coaching last year) we could probably get him for a bus fare between Ipswich and Norwich and a tin of brasso to polish all their ancient trophies

Chris Hughton is an inspiring manager of the future

Paul Jewell is the distant, damaged and humiliated past, and thats BEFORE Ipswich hired him.

With all the binners that prefer our board to their own, it's nice for them to have a playroom!

but there's more of us than them, so even if they tried to fix it he'd still be behind by about 10,000 votes <laugh>

    Hughton of course.

I wouldn't trust Jewell to manage a burger van correctly

Chris Houghton why would anyone want Paul Jewell. Paul Jewell makes Roy Keane look like a good manager :emoticon-0116-evilg

That's not right.Jewell is much better than Keane.I don't think he is a bad manager.Keane just left things in such a mess.

To put it in perspective I would rather have Colin Calderwood as manager then Paul Jewell.

paul Jewell is a failed pundit, lower than Lawro and boy is that low , just right for the ambitions of the tinpot suffolk bunch, they could get Peter Grant in as coach to help Jewell out I assume he is free lol! would it not be funny if we retained Culverhouse as a coach and Lambert ended up with Grant,,Lambert to Lener" I said Grant Holt you stupid Yank":cheesy:

Once again Kemp, you are so ****ing thick you didn't read what i actually stated, or was because you were to busy abusing people for having an opinion that differs from yourself! what i said was in our position of appointing after the **** up that Keane left us in, i would have appointed Jewell compared to a somebody reletively new and untried like Who-ton!

Perfectly rational, I'm sure you would agree. after another year of stablishing then perhaps we are in the position to appoint a younger type of manager.
