At least norwich got into a national rag! We spend 15 days under the media spotlight with sky running hourly updates and we had press organizing stings in miami for the photo.... swansea get a comment in the south wales evening post??? NO wonder so many fans get a complex about the press and their antics.
The best way to deal with the media is by winning on the pitch. They can say anything they want about this club but if we're winning, then I couldn't care less.
To be fair...the Stoke story doesn't warrant media coverage on a wider basis such as a search for a new manager. Pulis has an unconditional role at Stoke so it's unlikely to change anytime soon as long as Peter Coates is still chairman.
You can't expect much coverage of Swansea from the English press either. The small-minded London hacks think anything outside of the M25 is beyond the pale. They begrudge having to cover anywhere else in England usually (unless it's the Mancs) so what chance has Wales got?
I think mr crouch could look like jalapeno on a stick if he comes back any bloody thinner.... ANY story written about us ends up i nthe national rags and all over the internet... no matter how minor... I don't think stoke backing crouch will get quite the same attention as ferdinand do you? Swansea could appoint guardiola and sign messi and they'd still not bother send a camera to their ground..... but they'd cut off the swansea chairman mid sentence to see ferguson scratching his backside.... even wigan only get any attnetion cos thier chairman talks about big clubs and gives good headlines.
Of course Liverpool are a big Club. You'd be mad to think otherwise. But they're not a huge Club anymore. Not one of the Big 4. Certainly in the "best of the rest" category with Newkie, Spurs etc. Its possible for them to get back there though.
I suppose it's the same as Man U winning 12 Premierships and Liverpool winning **** all. That would be the same Little Club/Big Club scenario.

You have to honest and say that for many years Liverpool have been living off the acheivements of Shanks,Paisley ,Dalgleish etc.

Any good Liverpool fan is a realistic one. We're a big club, a huge club in fact. But we're not as good on the pitch as we were. That is clear.

For 22 years which evidently means you can't possibly still be a huge Club As for Istanbul. Its the only decent Trophy you've won since 1990 whereas United have won it twice and 12 Titles in the same time! Look, no-one wants to bash Liverpool. You're a good mid-table side with massive potential. But please know your place for God's sake.

Compared to 12 PL titles they are mate! Look, I don't want to have a go. I like Liverpool. But the delusion of the fan base is what winds other Clubs up so much, that's all.
