He's already been told he's on his way at the end of this season, he went to Bradford on loan with a view to it becoming a permanent deal in the summer.
What manager is going to discuss what is expected of them without also discussing the players and transfer budget available to them?
I'd expect a discussion about budget, but not necessarily a discussion about players, particularly not with our owners. Not unless it's a discussion about Billy Sharp.
That's correct, we let him use our staff/facilities for his rehabilitation despite him not having a contract with us, nothing less than he deserved but a nice gesture by the club nonetheless.
Garcia (one of only two players to not take a wage refferal might I add) has been offered some seriously good money to go home to Oz ... more than any right minded club would offer for a squad player ... he is gone and has engineered it sine new year ... sorry to burst another anti allam bubble having said that I wish him all the luck in the world and hope he has a fruitful end to his career .. great guy when I met him and did really care for our club
Bollocks. As the club's PFA representative in the dark summer of 2010, he helped organise wage deferrals within the camp in a bid to ease the tightening constraints. http://www.thisishullandeastriding....rtunity-says/story-16291550-detail/story.html
He was a great player and always seemed like a great guy, Would play wherever asked - to a solid standard (at least), Always gave 100% and fully committed, and a true Professional. Wish him well wherever he ends up next.
two players didnt defer .. you can guess the first one .. but the other was Garcia .. I do know this for fact .. I was shocked when I heard as I thought he was a true pro and just loved football . But then again he added to this side of things by delaying signing a contract in case he got a better deal Ill add , I always rated him as a player and a person to a point .. Ill always remember that goal at blackburn in the first prem season
So he got all the players to agree to a deferral, but didn't take one himself? I don't buy that for a minute.
Saw Garcia in st Stephens recently buying doughnuts and I think that was his downfall ;-) Good luck mate you've left a lasting smile, especially Burnley home
