Good day all. Have you ever got the feeling that someone doesnt like you?? Well today i get that feeling from mother. When i was young i would be banned from any electronic devices and the fuse would be removed from the plugs. Yet when ever my brother is banned from the Xbox he never completes the term of the ban. Take today for example. He was banned from the Xbox for a week because he threw something at his dad (my step-father) but because mum was going out and i was 'still asleep', i was up i just didnt show my face cos mum was in a foul mood and i usually cop the brunt of it, he was allowed to go on it, and has been for about 2hrs now. I wish she would not treat him so differently to how she treated my sister and i. Its infuriating.

Thats why i have put so much weight on, i had to drive to uni and then get the P+R (there was no other way) which meant i was sitting on my arse for so much of the day when you consider that i used to bike 8 miles a day to get to VIth Form.

<hug> it's really difficult when siblings are treated differently. It's something i'm sure most parents strive to avoid, though at times it's unavoidable...different circumstances dictate at times. i'm just sorry you're hurt by it...that isn't fair..<hug>

Yep, lack of exercise is a big factor...and it's so difficult to find the time to get any...this DVD i'm doing suits me down to the ground..20 minutes a day is great..but not when i can't do it! lol

Thanks H. Its nice to be able to vent and not then have to suffer the wrath of someone i am venting about. Once i get a job i am going to buy a bike that i can use and i will be biking as much as possible. Maybe even to and from work.

Also it doesnt help that i had to quit one of my martial arts clubs which i went to 3 times a week for 2 hours a class. So that was 5 hours of pretty much non-stop cardio with an hour of stretching too. I miss my flexibility :(.

:( it's really hard to do it without the support of a class...just going for a jog or even just stretching on your own is hard to get into but once it's a habit it's not so bad...just getting into the right frame of mind is hard...and so easy to lose...i've never been one of those people that gets addicted to exercise sadly! lol

Yeah, i find it really hard to motivate myself. I need to sit down at some point and set out a plan of what i need to do. The eating is under control (just need to get back to eating breakfast every day like i used to) so that should help and maybe i could go on the Wii fit for an hour each night when i am sitting thinking what to watch at about 11pm.

I would happily come over and help out in the fields. I love gardening and used to help my Grandad on his allotment all the time when i was young. I was the one who dug up most of the grass so as we could gravel the drive too.

I have just looked on the Auction site to see how much signed shirts go for and the 3 on there with team autographs rather than individuals have gone for the following

    2010-11 Watford Away Shirt- £52
    2010-11 Home Shirt- £100
    2010-11 Watford Home Shirt- £37
2011-12 Away Shirt Signed by Squad- £70
    2011/12 Watford Away Shirt- £105

Now considering the most signatures on any of these is 26 on the 11/12 away which went for £70 how much do you think this could go for? It has nearly ever player who played for us this season (missing Weimann) including loans.

Im sorry but WHAT THE ****!?!?!?! I was watching the European TKD championships in manchester over the weekend and i saw Lutalo Muhammad fight 4 times, each time he struggled and ended up winning 2 of them by 1 point gained in the dying seconds.

I have only seen a couple of Cooks fights but i have to say he does look like the best of the two. He is ranked number 1 in the world currently and has been consistently winning for a while now. It would seem that either there is an vendetta against Cook, or that the selectors are selecting based on colour. Why should a fighter who is ranked 59th in the world be selected over a fighter who is European champion and number 1 in the world

They aren't selecting Cook because he decided not to train with the official GB Taekwondo, and they have harboured a grudge ever since. He has greatly improved since he left, so assume they are angry with him for showing them up - sends a clear message to others not to leave, even if it benefits them!

Its truly appalling! How childish of them. It sends out a poor image for the sport and will not do anything to improve participation if Muhammad does not medal.
I would not be surprised if you were on the mark there AK.

I saw the todo about Lutalo Muhammad and it reminded me of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee River Pageant. My little brother is a bit of a boating person and has his tidal water ticket, anyway his friend who doesn't asked little brother to accompany him on the Queen's Pageant, as he had won a place in the lottery. Along with the othe one hundred or so boats that did the TWO rehearsals, wasting how many hours I know not, they were told they weren't needed as the Royal Thames Yacht Club would be attending. Another case of the people who put the hours in getting kicked because their blazer badges didn't fit, even though the majority can, do, and know how to sail boats they were ousted by, as described to me, "a bunch of pompous red faced, blazer wearing fools who know less about sailing than my cat".

I hope the Queen enjoyed the show.

A bit of a rant, made me feel good after a day of rain and before I fill my Volvo with diesel, it's running on fumes and is of to London on Friday for a business outing.

Time to erect a roof over the Isle of Wight. Lots of families clearly found the rain tough going over the last couple of days. We managed a long pub lunch with live music, 60s mostly and exceptionally well performed, a lovely evening meal with local fish washed down with Bandol Rose, and a walk on Tennyson Down this morning in between the showers.

Are you ever at home these days Theo? Still as I found out you suffer with the state of the gardening when you leave it to get on with itself. :(

Don't you just love the BBC. Listening to 5-Live on the way home, they featured on an article about how some companies i.e. Coca-Cola and Samsung had given spaces on the Torch Relay to their employees - so Coca Cola have 22 employees flying in to take part. So the BBC dug up a Green Party spokesperson to slag it all off - but just at the end they went over to Ireland where the relay has got to....guess who is carrying it in Northern Ireland? None other than Colin Murray a BBC presenter and hack...rather a egg on face moment that they quickly hushed up!
