I see nothing bad in that article from our perspective, and I hope its true. We have no idea how long or how much interaction there's been between us and Bruce either so making it sound like hes been sitting on his hands waiting for a better offer is disingenuous. If we get him, I see nothing but success for us and leaving LCFC and TWS in our dust as we leave the championship which is what the Assams want also. How's there anything even remotely negative here?
I agree. Frankly I wouldn't want a manager who didn't think about it. If we got an immediate yes it would rather imply 1)he had no options 2) he was desperate 3) he was impetuous 4)our offer was to good to be true. None of which would leave me comfortable. Even NB who was Hull through and through took quite some time to decide. So lets be patient. Personally I'd be happy with Bruce, but there are others I'd be happy with as well. And anyway I'm more interested in what they do than who they are. So this is a positive in my books, and I can see us doing well next season as the Allams carefull running of the club starts to pay dividends.
