Paulo Di Canio is a self confessed fascist and a media darling, hes also a racist. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18278054 The FA should be consistant with its punishment.
Yeh I know. Im just saying the lad should know better and sharing an opinion that just because somethings ok in one country doesnt make it ok in all countries, regardless of how offensive it may or may not be to them.
Hes Italian. No word of a lie we had a college trip to italy cancelled bcause we had middle eastern students on the course and last time they went they were attacked and unwelcome in many places. Balotelli got racist abuse from italians aswell. Racist country is italy. My ex was half italian and he mum was shockingly racist.
Spain is a very racist country and influences alot of the latin nations. Thats the point I was making. Also spain may aswell be third world the way its heading.
I can't believe we're having this argument all over again. The word can be used in Spanish in a non abusive way, it obviously was used in this instance in a non abusive way. No offence was intended therefore no offence should be inferred.
UIR is just trying to rehash the dead. . Which all those arguments on both sides well & truly are. Fairly Sure that regarding the law. Both parties were in different countries. (Pacheo still in Spain?) sooo (lawyers contradict me) the British could (if a member of the public makes a complaint) put a warrant out for his arrest & make it a European arrest warrant. The Spanish could arrest P on the British behalf who could in turn request the right to be tried for the offense in the country the offense was committed: Spain. Good luck getting a conviction on that one CPS oh & while you're at it justify the expense to us the taxpayers when there are rapists & murderers wandering about in Britain. Pacheo should be fined by the club for stupidity. We do not need this issue brought back to LFC when the tensions in the England camp are nothing to do with us. The FA would love to shine the spotlight back away from them & their manager & things like this could do it. Before anyone has a go at me accepting injustice I'm not. But Pacheo clearly meant a wind up here as it was public. Not worthy of a crime but very childish. Think he might find the answer "yes" to "are you still a LFC player" asked the other day may turn to a no rather quickly. Silly boy
Pretty sure I said he was stupid and that if someone was sad enough to complain to twitter they would be forced to act. I also said the club should fine him for being stupid because he worte half in english and then changed back to spanish. Is that because saying it in english would of left him with no cover? Obviously. Good luck Glen........ thats what none ******s would say. ******s would say Good luck little black man....
Yeah, was more in response to your first post in thread which had more than echoes of the old arguments. You appeared to lighten up after that. I mean I'm agreeing that it was a deliberate stir & as so stupid. All this talk of criminal offenses is just rediculous. Just as the Hodge is a racist debate is. Too many middle class liberals with too much time on their hands & not enough bills too pay....
It's a stupid thing for him to post given all the issues with racism this season, however it's a bit different saying this in a friendly way to a team mate than saying this in an aggressive way to an opponent.
Exactly ... over here it's all ''Buy Irish'' etc.etc. But then the taxi drivers put a little green light on their cars to signify an Irish driver(they say otherwise but everyone knows) and they're labeled racists
I mean I'm agreeing that it was a deliberate stir & as so stupid. All this talk of criminal offenses is just rediculous. Has to be intent for a criminal prosecution. That's why, despite the promptings from single-issue self-publicists like Luther Blisset, the CPS wouldn't touch the Suarez case with a bargepole.
Can't believe this has even been highlighted. It's 2 mates having a conversation. Johnson obviously isn't offended by the term otherwise he wouldn't have stuck by Suarez and Pacheco wouldn't have called him it. Can bet nothing will happen and it will be forgotten about in a few days.
Pacheco used the term non-offensively, no problem! Suarez used the term non-offensively, problem! The problem being that Suarez was in a heated discussion with Evra, so therefore he must have been being racist. However, it is clear that the term is generally used by South Americans with no racial connotations. Messi has used it, Hernandez has used it, lots of examples of South Americans using it have been provided...so, if all these people use it why was Suarez' use of it deemed racist? It is apparently similar to the term 'mate' here as far as I can see, so was it not a case of Suarez referring to Evra as 'mate', without actually trying to racially insult him? Obviously not, three Englishmen decided he was being racially abusive, despite the fact that the term is clearly used by South Americans in a non-offensive manner in all sorts of situations! Example: Person 1: You are a prick! Person 2: Yeah ok mate. Person 1: No, you are a prick! Person 2: Yeah ok mate!
