The mods say don't make topics on the same topic, then when someone does create a thread on the same thing, you don't merge the threads together.

 

If you check the board we do and have told people many times not to create duplication threads. Sometimes I'll notice the duplication when out at work on my phone but I cannot do anything about the matter until I return home but even then its not always possible to take action due to other commitments. Its easy to have a go at the mods but responsibility for the creation of these many different threads lies with those who created them.

 

I think he's a top signing, saw a few Dortmund games this season and he's stood out every time. Plays a Scholes role but at the same time he runs around all game and can turn people inside out - i like him.

I know you will think I am a moaning git but the mods on here are too laid back and allow the wums and users to abuse each other without action being taken.

There have been posters like furlough, who even revived old Matth threads to swamp the board and to WUM Matth.

We need to take a much tougher approach to these SOBs who come here only o um. They support other clubs and should post on their boards. This place s not for ABUs. When I was critical on another board, I got immediately banned.

I do not want to be nasty to Matth but cant we help him? Can't the mods limit the number of threads that he can start? What about a maximum of 10 a day? He puts in long OPs but contribute only very short posts to threads. Some f the OPs could have been added to existing threads - Matth are you listening ?

Here's How I responded to his first duplicate thread since his return....(Concerning Hazard's project interview)

The thread in question was promptly moved to the original project thread.
I was giving him some good advice but as you know Matth often ignores good advice. So when he created 10 more threads in a matter of hours I thought I'd try a different tactic. I bumped some of his old threads hoping to remind him visually how many times certain subjects have been covered. All the treads got locked and Matth calmed down for a while. I realise this tactic may seem immature and wound certain posters up and I apologise for that,but my sole intention wasn't to WUM Matth.

(2)I doubt any board would be worth visiting if there weren't opposing views,if everyone kept to their boards they'd just be one big circle jerk after another.

(3)The penny finally drops.Just because you got banned from a board unfairly doesn't mean you have to carry a chip on your shoulder and be abusive to anyone offering different views.

Look closer to home and you will find the wannabe mods and self proclaimed worthy posters are often the most abusive/paranoid stirrers.

 

You knew full well what you were doing yesterday when you were bumping loads of Matt's old threads but the mods quickly realized what you were playing at and closed the threads.

It must be a coincidence that a few of the non United users only appear when Matt makes threads and whilst he was banned, you rarely saw these users on our board.
