Actually not. If you read my reply to your compensation post, then hopefully it should be obvious. You clearly have virtually zero understanding of contract law. As I said, you're probably a contracts manger in an insurance office or something.. As for your nonsense about CUlverhouse -again, try reading what I actually wrote.
yes. this is our minimum aim for the foreseeable future. it will give us the platform to build from. 17th position is what we need to achieve, anything more will be great. survival is everything. that's not to say we shouldn't try to better ourselves and improve on last season but for a club like norwich, merely staying up each year will be seen as success - that's how sad football has become! i think we'll do better than 17th anyway but much depends on who we can bring in (and who leaves)
Dave Watson brilliant appointment too, respected massively by Joe Hart, Ben Foster and Jack Butland. And like someone above said has connections in England set up being Goalkeeping coach there.
Not a Norwich fan? Right whatever you say. Obviously in your own self-aggrandising way, what crap that pours off your keyboard must obviously be the truth... I was born in Norwich - want to see my brth certificate? I have supported Norwich all my life. Although, work commitments mean I have to spend a great deal of of time in Norwich, I spend every second I can at my place in Burnham Thorpe (also have a place between West Acre and Castle Acre - a few hundreds yards down the road from the turning from CA (where the barn conversions are).
Hi bors, announced by BBC Sport website Hughton cleared by Birmingham to talk to Norwich, also on BBC Midlands today it was stated Aston Villa have agreed compensation of approx £1 million. No mention of Culverhouse and Karsa.
AHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA. Your reply is ridiculous. It is based on the fact that I have "oversimplified" and used the words "compensation" instead of "damages". Clearly, I can see why you are an in-house lawyer. You don't understand how to convert into layman's terms. Your post essentially says- we don't know what the contract says, so we can't exactly comment and can only guess. Which, ironically, is what I said! The difference is, I tried to put it in terms which the thread was using...
ok, i believe you to be a city fan but why are you so desperately negative about everything then? this is an exciting time, the dawn of a new era. do you like to ring canary call at all? we've had a lot of new posters who have posted dubious (thats being kind) material lately so you can appreciate the suspicion. even our mods have highlighted doubt.
Quite- you are also incredibly contradictory in your criticism of Hughton and your advocacy of Curbishley/Culverhouse. I understand that you want Norwich to do well, but there is no point being negative about it. I don't think he's the most inspiring manager- but you have to assess what we need. We are going to be £10m short for this season due to the bullet payment of deferred interest due at the end of the 2012/13 season, to aim higher than 17th would be both dangerous and unrealistic.
Key was reading Birmingham's statement saying they reluctantly gave persmission because he wished to talk to us. Look's like it's close to happening
good to see we're going about this appointment professionally. no need to repeat the scenes from colchester
Actually, you demonstrated the understanding of Contract Law someone would get by picking up a textbook and reading it for 5 minutes ie none. It had nothing to do with using so-called "layman's" terms. Your anlaysis was not only flawed but factually incorrect. You're clearly not a lawyer. A lowly Contracts Manager at the very most. As for being, again what you incorrectly, call an 'in-house lawyer', I suggest you actually try to understand what that means. Most of my day to day work is now spent structuring complex M&A deals. Perhaps you would care to enlighten me as to your legal qualifications either academic or experience. Then, perhaps we could have a more meaningful debate. But, as you have no legal qalifications, I won't waste my time. As a Contracts Manager, guessing you earn a huge £30k a year. Just to put our respective expertise into some context, I earn that in a fortnight! I have replied in the same tone and lack of respect as you did.
This is a football forum, I don't come on here to see how much people earn. Lawyer or not I couldn't give a s hit and you won't impress anyone on here with how much you earn.
i'm getting de ja vu. is anyone else? can't remember what the posters name was but they produced an endless stream of guff about how much money they earn and how many qualifications they have. then they disappeared...
