forget that, tangential to my main point. my point was that what's likely to happen to your club is wrong. of course it could all be porkies and might not even happen but if it does, it is tradition and history down the drain. what i should have also said was that in 2 generations time cardiff city supporters would only know a red cardiff city along with possibly more success so you never know
Bit like Leeds then when Revie changed them to all white in '61. Didn't do them any harm and I doubt many of their fans now remember the old blue and gold shirts. As hard as it seems, you can change strip colours without getting suicidal about it if you realise it's in the club and fan's interest in the long term.
What go you suggest bony, go into administration instead? No thanks, we'll leave that to you dirty thieving gypsy's.
Tradition and identity isn't colour, pink was regarded to be the fashionable colour for boys 100 years ago , but if I put my too little ones in it now they would go mental run around and scream it's a girls colour , how many diffrent badges have we had let alone other teams ,history can't be changed , we are the only team to take the F.A cup out of England , but it doesn't pay the bills today. History and tradition are fine , but no matter what the owners change we will still be the bluebirds ( can't stop that being chanted from the stands ) can wear what colour shirt you want ( I wear a 1970's blue Cardiff shirt with a bluebird on the badge ) would I mind if the shirt changes colour ? Maybe but then again I won't buy one thats my choice. If the whole idea of changing things is to appeal to the Asian Market is that a bad thing ?
Announcement tomorrow on the Official Site at 9.00am according to Carl Curtis. Bet all the old timers on the Jacks boards will have their alarms set.
bony im not selling out dude....im putting my past away 2 become a modern day football supporter like the person you sit next 2 down the vetch>>>>woops sorry liberty
How has anyone sold out? The clubs owners have decided on a new stratergy to promote the club in Asia. The away kit is blue and the home kit is red. The badge is a different design but has the bluebird and the dragon, both are on the current badge.
