Best Manager - Mancini He's got the trophy to prove it. Worst Manager - Redknapp. Lost the job he REALLY wanted. Bottled a lead bigger than Ferguson had. Admits in court that he's thick. Ends up qualifying for a tournement Dalglish had qualified for weeks before. In his defence he's swiftly followed by the 3 managers who got relegated.
Nice to see you still visit our board PNP. Next time your in the Anfield Arms let us know and we'll get you a pint.
Sorry PMK, but your reply gave you away! There are some Liverpool fans that turn up on occasion to post their usual gibberish (Gaf, BBF), but if others decide to join in, then it's usually prompted. You're not all as silly as that pair.
Lost the job he REALLY wanted. ... Lost something he was only given by The Sun! Bottled a lead bigger than Ferguson had. ... but SAF's having a far worse consequence. Ends up qualifying for a tournement Dalglish had qualified for weeks before. How lucky they qualified through cups, would have been no Euro football at all based on league performance. Is Dalglish walking with anyone atm? how many times did you say he wouldn't be alone?
Spurs fans on this site are always looking down on others, I sense that you lot may be heading for a fall.
It's an article about the best and worst managers of last season. Nobody's suggested Redknapp as the best manager, so we're clearly all looking up at some and down on others. Seems pretty balanced, to me. Geordies would probably see this as a pretty positive article. Most of those that've been mentioned as candidates for the worst manager have been sacked, so there's clearly a basis to those claims. Lidls is a Man Utd fan, by the way.
Dalglish is the worst for me. McLeish lost football matches, as did Kean and Connor, but they didn't have a part in destroying the reputation of a great club. Best? Pardew by a country mile, although if he was chocolate....
Balanced? So slate a manager that wins 1 cup and comes runner up in another and finishes 8th,ffs if he got us relegated maybe.
So because I state my opinion and you don't agree with it, it's gibberish? Thought this was a forum for debate?
He clearly had greater resources than many, if not all, of the clubs that Liverpool finished above and also a number that finished above Liverpool. For some clubs a mid-table finish is a very good return and their manager will have done a good job. I'd suggest that yours isn't one of them. Your own board would appear to agree, though I believe that Dalglish should've been given another season without the influence of Comolli.
so obviously you think he should not have got sacked? realli? its a good thing real LFC fans know their football...this new breed just havent got a clue. plus im glad to see that your not backing your board on the sacking. once again allow me to re itterate... we Spurs fans love Spurs..not individuals...anybody would get our backing so long as they are representing our club..but we dont put people before it. anybody..actually even a baseball fan knows that KD was not the right man i think even wolves would have obtained their objective had they been given 100 million to blow. our goal was top 4..we got it...our dilemma is can Harry get us into the top 3..thats called progress..and thats why us Spurs fans ponder over a replacement. your owners want someone who doesnt finish 8th after blowing so much money on mediocre players...i cant blame them for telling KD to get lost. yes a cup is a cup but the 'new breed' wont see what real fans see...and that is that it does not mean much in the grand scheme of things...by your logic...Cardiff had a better season than Arsenal,Spurs even United. i dont know what has happened to you Pool fans but there was a time when the odd one had a brain..it amazes me how you are infatuated by an individual and not concerned with the welfare of your club. plus you should not expect favouritism on this board considering we dont have a problem telling our own manager what we think of his tactics, behaviour etc etc.
