Only want to see rangers treated the same way as every other club. The SFA/SPL by their own admission have gave you special treatment and plan to give you more with regard the possible newco scenario.

Lord Glennie's written judgement makes reference to the Appeal Tribunal (Lord Carloway) report where it states:

"Although the Appellate Tribunal agreed with the Diciplinary Tribunal that termination, suspension of membership would have been excessive, it made the assessment in the context of the availability of competent lesser sanctions such as the one actually imposed. Were that option not to have been available, suspension might have to have been considered appropriate for such serious misconduct, which has brought the game into disrepute"

The same as every other club? Who else has been banned from signing for a year? They've admitted to giving us special treatment? When? I think you'll find these meetings are for the benefit of the spl (including Celtic btw) over rangers, you can twist it anyway you want but that is fact.

Remind me which other club has run up a possible 134 million debt ??? All the other Scottish clubs that have entered administration didn't owe other Scottish club money , these teams stripped their club bare to get out of administration .You've kept your players to get the second place prize money and still havn't paid your football debts . Cheating to the end , the Rangers way .

You make a fair point Harry. The punishment should have been the heaviest possible, expulsion or suspension. The comittee who punished Rangers with a 12 month signing ban were going easy on Rangers.. only Rangers did not realise it. Some still don't.

Yeah I'm sure you'd have the exact same point of view if it was the other way round!

I'd suggest a 10 point deduction (which like it or not, kill the league mid feb) and the chance of a potential £15m income from euro football is plenty.

Let's get on with next season

Classic Chapper , pull me up for using possible then you go in your next post and use potential .On your working out Rangers cheating over the last couple of decades has stopped every Scottish club the possible /potential of finishing 2 nd in our league and champion league money pot . You have to be heavily punished , not missing Scottish cup , the same punishment teams have got for an admin error

Yes they are for the spls benefit but they shouldn't be. If a hearts, st mirren etc would have been relegated for what you have done then so should rangers. Which might still happen as the judge didn't rule out the possibility of more severe punishments, only that the punishment handed to rangers was not an option open to them. Now with FIFA watching it will need to be a punishment of the same/more severity or the SFA will be punished.

Magic are you denying George Peat is a Hun , next you 'll be telling me Jim Ballantyne Airdrie's chairman isn't despite being caught at the bigot game in Belfast . This is what has been wrong with Scottish football, Rangers die hards getting the top positions in our game .The laughable comments by Rangers fans that Peter Lawell runs our game , yet Gordon' Rangers for me 'Smith held the top position not long ago , can't remember any complaints from the thick ones then

Football chairman "caught" attending a football match <yikes>

George Peat was not celebrating the Rangers goal as you so vehemently claimed. You're a delusional old wreck of a man.

    What a ridiculous argument.

I doubt if we will ever see Celtic in debt to the level Rangers are at present so I cannot forsee me having to look at this from Celtic's point of view.

I'm not surprised you just want to get on with next season because this season has been blighted by Rangers shocking catalogue of toys oot the prammery, threatening everyone and anyone who does not want to "Help" Rangers and accusations of bias against everyone who holds an alternative and sensible point of view.

This season - simply put - Rangers have dragged Scottish football into the gutter and hopefully retribution is coming by way of (at the very least) a suspension of membership. That will be more than 10 points lost so you can maybe roll out that "Tainted title" comfort blanket again and pretend it's not Rangers fault.

Only embarrassments are people like you Chapper , blaming Craig Whyte for all Rangers troubles . It started when David crook Murray walked through the door , so I will repeat myself , two decades of cheating have finally caught up with Rangers.Sit back and enjoy the ride as one by one those stars will be coming of the jersey , leave it to the big teams who put stars on for winning the champions cup .
