The fixtures for the 2012/13 are released on the 19th of June i believe (2 weeks today). Hopefully we will get a nice easy home fixture to set our season up. However given last years home record i don't think an away game would be a bad thing. Obviously depending on who it is. Away at a promoted or relegated team wouldn't be so great, maybe an away fixture at Bristol City or Ipswich or something. My final question is does anyone know how they schedule the fixtures. Do they randomize it, or do they pick specific fixtures for specific dates? I seem to think that they often fix a promoted team against a relegated team, but i'm honestly not sure at all. This didn't happen this year though.

Season starts later this year on August 18th though <doh> assume because of the Euros.

I'll settle for top 10 and you for Leeds realistically? <ok>

...and because of the Olympics and Paralympics.

Easiest one for us would be away to Millwall. 3 guaranteed points in the bag, solidify our rightful place above them, and a bit of peace on the board for a week or so <ok>

Nice to have a boring opponent first game, since it makes the fixture more exciting than it would otherwise have been.

So Ipswich, Watford or Charlton home or away would do for me.

I'd only be happy if we made the play offs. But i don't see it. Probably a boring mid-table season where we are on the fringes of the play-offs but never get in.

Personally I'd like us to be at home to Blackburn. Oh, to see the Venky's faces when we kick them off the park. Arrogant, stupid bastards.

Last team I want is Wolves. Suspect they may smash themselves back into the Premier League in jig time.
