I'm sure Eddie Izzard will be great for Spurs. He may be getting on a bit and lost some pace, but he never stops running and keeps a cool head on the big occasions as he is used to large stadium crowds. He'll bring some glamour back to the a club that has lost and little bit of shine. I've heard that sales of lipstick and high heels in the club shop have sky rocketed. So all in all another shrewd Redknapp capture.

At the end of the day you have just signed a player who will be leaving as soon as a bid from Spain comes in. Now he may give you 2 or 3 good years and thats great but his comments today dont bode well for Chelsea. He basically lied and made no secret that he only moved to england because he felt he wasnt ready for Barcelona or Madrid.

He also called you a project, that word should be banned and Man City destroyed for creating its use in football terms.

Hazard will be fantastic form you guys but he seems to of already started his next saga. This one ends in Spain.

Nothing bitter about it and you know it, I just pointed out what the guys said and thats basically that Chelsea ( would of been United if he had chose us ) are a stepping stone to Spain.

Not the best way to start your career at a new club by saying you want to leave. I am sure he will make a show of it from day one aswell.
