Of course, you're quite correct, Igor. It is quite easy to jump to conclusions on the basis of Mr Barton having 'previous'. When the facts come out, it might be proven that he was responsible for the fracas. But none of us can yet possibly know the truth from this distance and at such an early stage.

According to SSN Barton bailed 'pending further inquiries'. Seems like they are trying to sort out what actually happened.
Well they could have it on tape as it was outside a club, maybe they only arrested him after they saw what happened themselves.
For me whether he's guilty or not isn't even relevant. I wake up to headlines 'QPR captain arrested after altercation' and that p*sses me off. It's embarrassing and certainly brings the club into disrepute in my book. Does this make us proud? Surely together with the man city incident we have grounds to terminate? He's the captain of this great club ffs!!!!
Barton said on twitter he got a dig on the back of his head/ear,the coppers said when they got to Garlands there was a man with facial injuries. Rumour is Barton caused the lads 'facial injuries'. Wrong, it is normal. By arresting somebody you allow them their legal right to solicitor etc and shows that you have investigated impartially which is what plod do. In essence if the other side have made counter allegations they will deal with JB in the same light to ensure no allegation of pre judgement from impartial investigators as the police are meant to be is made. However we could always twist it to have a pop at him if it suits
I hate to see people being distraught like in the picture above. I hate seeing people suffer, even J Barton, John Terry etc. Its not a nice sight. Why can't he just sort himself out FFS?
People do not get arrested every time an allegation has been made, there has to be some evidence, either CCTV or an injury. Look at the above photo, does that look like it was just one punch to the back of the head like Bartons account? Hes shirtless and bloodied.
Really!! Well having spent the evening with some plod mates they say different. Especially a case that involves a celebrity and will involve a greater 'public interest'.
