    I hate red because:

    Man Utd
    Phillies
    Turkish flag
Colour of your poo when piles act up
    Negative bank balance
    Vodafone (who sponsored Scum)
Looks crap on a lounge wall
Looks crap on a front door
Looks crap on a garage door
    Just looks crap
    Bayern Munich
    Alex Ferguson's Nose

Pls feel free to add your reasons

Colour of scum as you mention, which is by far the most important reason to hate it.

Also the colour of communism and socialism: two evil doctrines which have led to the death of hundreds of millions of innocent people all around the globe.

Billy, if you have not done already, you need to read 'Paint it White' by Gary Edwards. You'll be laughing and crying by the time you've finished it. One of the best Leeds books ever....

    I love all colours.

Especially when my national team's colours include the colour red so prominently, I just can't agree with you.

Hatred is such a strong negative emotion.

Have you tried being happy and positive and optimistic instead once in a while? <laugh>

I give red a temporary amnesty whenever England are involved in qualifiers/a major tournament, but only grudgingly.

Stirling Albion play in red, so I have no issues with this colour. I'm sure if you look at the most successful colour of any football team in the world, red would be up there at the top. Have no interest in the colour Man Utd play in, so that really is pants. What was the european game that Leeds played in a red top, I think it might have been a Fairs Cup Final?

Because I derive pleasure from hating things I think are hateful, not from smiling through them like a mindless grin-machine.

The colour red... you might as well be saying 'toro, toro!' It's the colour of ANGER for a reason. <grr>

How could I miss Simply Red? Met Hucknall on David Coulthard's boat in Ibiza in 2004, he is so ****ing ugly in the flesh I almost puked!! **** me, another boring Scum fan, everyone ignored him so he pissed off after 30 mins, DC said he was a bit touchy but I just thought his ego took a pounding.
