Colour of scum as you mention, which is by far the most important reason to hate it. Also the colour of communism and socialism: two evil doctrines which have led to the death of hundreds of millions of innocent people all around the globe.

I love all colours. Especially when my national team's colours include the colour red so prominently, I just can't agree with you. Hatred is such a strong negative emotion. Have you tried being happy and positive and optimistic instead once in a while?
I give red a temporary amnesty whenever England are involved in qualifiers/a major tournament, but only grudgingly.
Stirling Albion play in red, so I have no issues with this colour. I'm sure if you look at the most successful colour of any football team in the world, red would be up there at the top.
