Not sure why Micah was left out. He can be quite dangerous on on the right and has performed well all season.

I know our FA don't want any part in the olympics, despite Bellamy basically announcing himself as part of the squad.

Terry's failed one man coup at the World Cup was enough to ban him from any future England set up in my opinion.

Complete lack of respect for the manager and his team mates, completely unprofessional behaviour and an embarrassment to the nation.

    He's England's best RB by a mile.

How Kelly got picked over Richards, Ferdinand or any other defender in England I will never know. Roy clearly has a pro-liverpool bias. My England team (and I'm sure many others) would not include Downing, Carroll or Kelly. They are just not good enough. I agree with dropping Ferdinand, he has been off-par this season and is passed it, but the person picked instead of him is just a plain joke. lets hope it pays off for roy, or we might see redknapp at the World cup in 2014.

This is my England team, with current available personnel, if i were manager. It looks pretty different to Roy's, because i don't hold any pro liverfool bias.

    Hart
    Richards Jagielka Lescott Cashley
    Parker Milner
    Theo Rooney Oxo
    Welbeck

And this is an injury free team
    Hart
    Richards Cahill Lescott Cole
    Parker Wilshere
    Theo Rooney Oxo
    Bent

almost agree with that. don't think oxo is quite ready yet, his PL performances have shown that. young is the better option atm. he is usually top class for england. would also still have gerrard over milner, but mainly because there are no other options.

I absolutely refuse to pick Young though. I know Oxo isn't ready, but he's still better than Downing.

In answer to many of you...

Richards apparently was rung up to be told he'd be a standby player and he had a giant hissy fit about it saying he should be in the starting line-up (which incidentally I agree with). Consequently he's done a Michael Carrick and cut his nose off to spite his face. I think he's a brilliant player but he's not covered himself with glory with regards to England. First off was his spit-roasting incident and being told to behave himself by Capello (which he didn't like) and now this. Also, didn't he refuse to play in a friendly recently or am I making that up? I don't even know any more...
