Living the dream. I know he did well managing huddersfield but I don't really know what kind of a manger he's like. Anybody know?

I think the manager who might be most hoping for a call at this time is Stephen Constantine. I believe he was due to renew his contract at Salamina sometime around the 14th May 2012. Although looking at the clubs official website, there is no mention that this has yet occurred. Since Constantine came into the spotlight it has gone very quiet, just seems unusual for a person that has a website, video and was quite happy to respond to me personally confirming his interest in the vacancy some three weeks ago. Obviously I have to be careful because I do not think the club has ever mentioned him being in the running. I just believe over the previously reported time scales, of short lists, discussions with the board, then end of the month (May) the manager being in place. Constantine would have fit within that time period, more than recent reported speculations and denials at this late stage.

Could be totally wrong but that is my committed guess. I just find it difficult to digest that with so many reported applications and suggested deadlines having passed that we would be still asking to speak to other individuals.

Come now brb, tell the truth. This is what's really happening.

Scally has offered the job to Constantine already but is waiting and trying to lengthen his odds, doing this by a smoke screen of other "interested" managers and so called approaches. With Constantine's odds lengthening Scally will then, through his favourite dodgy bookie ;) and an alias , place a sizeable wager with which the winnings will fund the transfer kitty.

Ok, I will tell the truth...her indoors is watching the Voice and I got bored <laugh> but you are right at this late stage, they are good odds for Constantine. As for the rest of your humorous suggestion, I am in denial, because I do not fancy getting done by any watching lawyers. As for yourself just plead poverty with young mouths to feed :bandit:

Anyway, can not hang about talking here, its a busy time with bets to be sorted <whistle>

That could all be a possibility, and regards to the Voice that is well boring, watched it for a few weeks and after that I got bored of it, same old thing each week.

Must say it Lee Clark would be immense. I would go as far as to say he would be something of a 'coup' for the club...

Well a new piece of info has been found on twitter it seems. HOTSM has contacted Frank Nouble and apparently talks are ongoing between him and the club. A meeting is meant to take place between the chairman and the new manager this week, which of course indicates that our man is quite likely in talks with PS. I have a good feeling for tomorrow but I'm ever the optimist.

Do any of you remember the trouble we had a couple of years back when Jepson was in charge and a WUM created a striker from Cork City? He then came onto 606 and spread the rumours? I forgot the player's name that he came up with but I remember the excitement that the boards got into, the only real evidence was a wikipedia page!

I am always cautious of any accounts that do not have other known player accounts following them. I went through the same dilemma with the Constantine reply and sometimes you can do no more than go with gut instinct.

HOTSM is a good lad in my opinion giving a personal fans eye view on stuff and people that pull stunts such as fake accounts are not funny.

Yeah could still be, or Scally could shock us with someone who is not even on the betting list, has happened before.
