Jones is a weak CB - but not as bad as Ferdinand on and off the pitch. Bottom line is the squad has been chosen - time to forget Ferdinand and get behind the England team... as I said, hold the criticism until Hodgson has had a bloody chance!
What no names.....probably because you cannot name anyone, even if you tried. Seeing as I am a kind and helpful fella I will help you out. John Terry - already covered this, hes ****, worst england player ever, an imposter in footballing terms. Lescott - serious? If you thought this for just 1 second please punch yourself, hard. Jagelka - Decent but not top class at all. Cahill - hmmm, the change over could just be happening now, Rio for me still better but Cahills decent, very decent. Smalling - One day, one day Jones - One day one day Yup.....thats that then. I never said rio was brilliant, just that hes the best we have. Am I wrong? Football over the past 12 months says no.
Must be hard being a football fan yet not knowing **** all about the game. I admire your determination though. I might try and bluff my way through pretending to be a Rugby fan.... "Them scrums eh, brutal stuff....words, letters, conversation, rugby. Go Team!" Have I convinced you?
No, I still think you're a dick ...and I am still delighted that the drugs cheat is dropped he's been well and truly 'merked'
Come on. Rio was very good for United last season at CB, especially in the league. Jones was a squad player who played at right back and in midfield sometimes. To even compare Rio and Jones as CB's is absurd. Jones will do well to become half as good as Rio at CB. Oh and no point bringing up the off pitch issues. Roy picked Terry, FFS. England have no standards to live up to their. Terry is the lowest of the low and he gets in.
Your partisan support for Rio has clouded your judgement. Rio in his prime was class for club and country but he clearly past his best. I've watched Man U a few times this season and Rio looks very vulnerable. It's his experience and very good positional sense that is helping him. Physically his body is no longer good enough for top tier football. JT is better than Rio now, as much as it pains me to say....
Delighted a player was dropped because another player was included who racially abused his brother. Hmmmmm, interesting.
I saw every United game last season and let me assure you Rio was at his best in years. The last time rio was this good was a while back and to say JT is better is insane. Even ****ing chelsea fans dont agree and hes their hero ( was, most of them dont like him ). John Terrys can make last ditch tackles and head the ball. Thats it. **** all else. The last ditch tackles are because hes **** and isnt good enough to stop players beating him or to get in the right position and heading is what all defenders should be able to do. Clouded judgement, nah, I just dont rate dogshit racist **** footballers. Ive had ****s that are better than John Terry. Hes ****ing awful and how he ever played for england is a mystery we will never know.
Rip isn't the Player he once was, and that was never good enough to improve England's chances of winning owt. Absolutely no point taking him whatsoever.
But Terry, Kelly, and whoever were........ I dont understand your post, taking a better player means we dont have a better chance? Thats not possible.
Jack - I watched Rio in the CL this year and the PL - he was ****ing awful. As an example watch the Everton 4-4 game. Utterly cack - dont want him anywhere near England. Happily Hodgson doesnt either.
But over the entire league campaign, he was very good. The United defence let in 33 goals last season and only City let in less goals. Rio played in 29 of those games. He was the mainstay of a defence and a team that ended up level on points with the actual champions. Every United fan I spoke to say he had a very good season.
Like I said - Hodgson doesnt think he is good enough. I am going to take his word on it and get behind the players good enough to be selected.
I wouldn't have taken Terry or Kelly either. Jagielka and Lescott are a brilliant partnership, Jones can step in if one gets injured, the biggest mystery is why Micah Richards wasn't taken as first choice RB
You cant beat idiots sjw19. Rio played the majority of games in the second best defence in the country. It wasnt even our strongest defence. On a side not Jayrams writing and debating style is very simialr to Bazrays on the Liverpool board. Both are terrified to say a manager is wrong for some reason.
