Yeah, you got me there, Brix. Calling myself a sensitive soul is just my pathetic attempt at a little self-deprecation whilst I try to make the serious point about contributors on this site effing and blinding at one another instead of trying to articulate a decently thought-out, well-reasoned riposte. It's so easy to just say 'you're a ****' or whatever, rather than try to persuade with some intelligence. I'm just as guilty as others at times, but I really try to deal with the topic in hand rather than resort to the 'personals'. Perhaps I should just punch out 'ridiculous post' at the foot of a impenetrable diatribe and be done with it, huh?
Well I certainly don't Renault. Not if it were Barton, Diouf or the Queen. That said there is no doubt Barton at least has been a top grade b*st*rd himself, and whether he is a reformed charcter or not now, this does show that if you are a well known person with a bad past in English society, you are going to go on taking a lot of abuse, both verbal and in his case now physical, reformed character or not reformed character. In that sense Barton does have some sympathy from me. Trouble is by his twittering and actions at City he ain't helping himself any. Doesn't sound like it was too smart walking round Liverpool City Centre at 5.30 am with his girl friend either!
It's not ridiculous Igor. Whilst some of us might be more discerning, we've seen a number of recent posts wishing injury and similar on Terry - especially in the hope that he fails to make the England team. Not cool but certainly fact.
Swords, with great respect as always, how the F*** do you know when i'm lying ?? Sorry to disapoint you but i can't think of anyone, Diouf, Terry or even Marlon King (dislike them all as i do) that i would like to see set upon in front of their girlfriends, partners or wives.
Rhetorical question. Who's to blame when a man gets attacked by animals in the wild - the animals or the man for putting himself (and girlfriend) in harm's way? Joey makes himself a target for dimwits. Silly boy.
It's neanderthal human nature that is the problem here. There are plenty of hard-man bellends out there just looking for an excuse to 'big' themselves up in a crowd and if they find a well-known so-called hardman in the vicinity it will always happen. I knew a famous wrestler in the 70s who used to regularly find these morons couldn't resist trying to goad him or demand to take him on after they'd had a skinful. It got so bad that he almost stopped going out, but eventually he decided to buy his own pub and ended up having to employ bouncers...
There's an idea there Sooper! Perhaps we can sell him to a Pub, somewhere like on some island south of Chile!
Did his team mate deserve to be beaten up in training. Barton most likely started it anyway. He deserved this, what goes around comes around. If he's not prepared to take a beating he shouldnt dish out so many himself Sent from my Android using Tapatalk
Cant say behalf of anyone else in here, but from my point of wiew it was a ridicilous post. I dont like jt or diouf but im a sure that i wont wish any violence against them outside of field. On the field i might occacionally wish some "tender" tap on their shin now and then but it is totally different thing ......
If Barton was on Mastermind (don't bet against it) his specialist subject would be "getting QPR supporters at each others' throats".
Sounds like Barton. I'm just glad Hughes has seen sense and has (hopefully) signed a Nancy boy to redress the balance.
All I said to him was look you fifties throw back your girlfriend looks like a star wars extra and any chance I could eat your baby? He got all wonky so I gave him a gypsy throat punch and told him he was dragging my club through the mud He said fair enough and thanked me for the life lesson then we beat up a copper and went off for breakfast
I don't Staines to be fair. So forgive me if I've got you wrong old chap. However, there are certainly a lot of lads on here who would gleefully cheer if John Terry or Diouf got a few slaps when out on the High Street but who'll still defend Barton to the hilt. Personally I couldn't care less if they all took a bit of a hidin' now and again. It might bring some of them back down to earth for a while.
No offence taken swords. And sorry if I came over as a bit aggressive in my reply. I've been a long day at work and had just woken up from a little siesta between shifts. Only another 5 hours to go till home
Are we back to them f*kkin inbred canaries on here too! Fry was Delia's first nephew last time I checked their family tree. It didn't take too long, it only had three sick looking branches, and a couple of maggot infested yellow/green creatures with eaten out eyeballs hanging off em.
