I love the way Jayram has automatically assumed the role of revolutionary leader :p

The horse to water thing is a very bad analogy. How about - you can't abuse your wife all day and still expect a BJ in the evening.

RVP was the difference between Champion's League and the Championship for you this season.

Well, not quite, but he was worth at least 20 points by himself.

Hope you don't lose him to City.

It was burned to a crisp actually - most failed cult leaders end up meeting a similar demise <ok>

I told you your crystal ball was broken a long time ago, when you were predicting a mid table finish and that the North London power shift was complete <laugh>

  12. A bit like you pretending you knew more than George Graham and more than Paul Merson about Arsenal.... I did try and find your quote, but you have deleted it <laugh>.. guilty conscience <rofl>

I haven't deleted anything of the sort <ok>

that's just yet another example of you spouting bollocks. First you make **** up to try and win an arguement that doesn't exist and then you make **** up to try and say I've deleted the comments that never existed <laugh>

You really are scraping the barrel today . . .

  14. Everyone on here remembers your post - after I had taken apart your argument that we were not in crisis and used GG as an example of someone who thought so too, you clearly said that he didnt know anything about football, "confirmed" by his views on Walcott <ok> ... as I said guilty conscience, covering tracks <ok><laugh>

No, you're wrong. Do you know why? Because it only ever existed in your head <ok>

Your Dear John letter to the Spuds and your prediction that we'd end up mid table however ...... <whistle> <laugh>

Anyway, enough of your bollocks Jayram. It just goes round in circles. Back to the OP,

I still maintain that we need to keep RVP this summer, regardless of whether he signs a contract or not. I think he's worth more to us than anything we'd get in transfer fees and we'd be taking a MASSIVE gamble believing that we could replace him this summer with the funds from a sale. I can't see any other scenario other than it making us weaker. Sometimes you need the player more than you need the cash. <ok>

  17. I agree that we need to keep RVP - we need to avert another crisis at the club <ok>

As the OP stated, I think losing Fabregas, Nasri and RVP in the space of a year, would simply be too much to take for the fans. And would demonstrate that the board are pulling in the opposite direction to Wenger, who wanted to keep all of them.

  20. We need to be getting our business done. It cant be good for RVP to see Chelsea being ambitious whist we continue with the radio silence.
