O/T - Not Supporting Your Country

I'm an Englishman who doesn't give a **** about the national team. Apparently that means I'm not patriotic enough for some, and the fact that the only games I'm looking forward to at Euro 2012 are Germany-Netherlands, Italy-Spain and those involving Ireland led to a man in my local calling me a '****'.

Is it fair to request that I like anything and everything, so long as it has the English brand name plastered on it?

 

It's worse supporting Andy Murray at Wimbledon than not supporting England if you are English

With regards to your second point, I went in there last Saturday for the first time in 10 months and I thought there'd been some kind of Beverlonian holocaust.

Just noticed Dan Hook's ****hole got done up, as Jays or something. If it's another ****ty wine bar with poncey punters, who ban you (tried to get in one night but they'd banned everyone in my age group from stepping foot in there), they can stuff it up their arse.

I couldn't give a dam about England FC either. Let's face it England's games are boring and none of the players play for City.. same as the Olympic games .. Yawns.. rather then watch the games I will be in the lake district for two weeks. Much more enjoyable. ( can't stand cricket either )

 

pretty sure its ok to look forward to watching the other games from an entertainment point of view, i too am looking forward to germany v holland..
and i dont think you have to deck your house out in red and white and sing the national anthem, but anybody that doesnt want england to win when they are playing in a major tournament, i would happily watch die of aids...no offence

 

will be funny if city appoint that german as manager come wednesday with attitudes to enland fc being as they are.
i like germans personaly.they drink a lot and the women tend to have huge .......erm sorry bout that.
