There will have to be quite a few new stadiums if they want to host the euros in 2022 or whenever, you are only allowed one per city and they need to have around 10, there are many big capacity GAA stadiums in Ireland but they sadly are no way fit to host international football, Wales has the Millenium, Scotland has 3 but they're all in Glasgow.
Croke Park,The Aviva(Ireland),Hampden,Paradise and Castle Greyskull(Scotland),the Millenium and a new build if the bid is successful(Wales).
Veering away, anyone care to second guess who'll be at Croke for the GAA semis? I'm getting tickets, but it's pot luck.
Not getting into an England/Ireland debate PMK but England won twice in the 80's. Of course Ireland won the one that mattered in Germany in 88.
Welcome Kopite, ye dirty ole whore ye! You're right Skinners, a lot of work would have to go into Scot, Irl and Wal if they're gonna have half a chance. Scotland has Murrayfield in Edinburgh which I'm sure would be opened up and they have a few provincial grounds that could be tarted up a bit. Thomond Park in Limerick could be a goer with the final two stands built. Are you sure you're only allowed one per City?
I wasn't sure whether to post it tbf. No offence meant to anyone btw. I can't believe some of the youtube comments.
Indeed you did. It was the part when you were saying to "take hold of your sausage, stick it in gently for half an hour then have a pint of stout" where I got nervous.
