Pleased to hear it, it's been a very ordinary day at this end. Going to have to start going to the cricket to try and make up for the loss of the football. Not quite the same thing but it'll help to pass the time away.
It takes very little to make it a good day for me. TV, a laptop, Osca and peace is all it takes, very, very simple life.
Not a great lover of TV. Only watch it when there's footy on. Got the PC which I spend a lot of time at (obviously) and I don't have a dog. Always take my sisters dog for walks when I visit and she loves getting longer and different ones to what she gets with my sister.
On a serious note AB I thi nk my past has caught up with me. I worked long stressfull hours and spent little time at home, either at work, would start around 6.30 because I got most done before people and problems turned up, and home late. Or away a lot in hotel rooms, then there were those 2 wives. Now the thought of sitting alone, with Osca, a good drama and peace is wonderful, funny how life turns out, after the big cars and houses its now the simple things in life that please me.
so true, I am walking proof that money can help with happiness, we all need some, but can it buy you love and happiness, not for me. I was married to wife number 1 for 24 years, knew each other for 29 years. We had loads of happy times with no money just each other and the world to go for. I then started to find success, find money and we moved up in the world, that's when the cracks started.
