Every time these two are in a race together Miss Green seems to ride the winner. I have noticed this on 8 seperate occassions. How good then is Rachael Green?

I've backed her once before, a few months back on a short price favourite, and she gave the horse 1 of the worst rides I've seen. With 3 to jump her horse was cruising and hard held, and rather than kicking on she sits there on the bit, and then hits the last, allowing another horse who was being ridden for about 5 furlongs to mug her on the line:biggrin:

Well she is just an apprentice and learning her trade she has around a 29% strike rate overall although only 1from 6 this season (66-1, mccoy was on the fav) but i think 29% is a good strike rate for a young female jockey. Every jockey gives a horse a bad ride from time to time imo.

I think it's a case of who she knows, not what she knows. Of the 6 rides she's had 2 of those have been strong favourites, and I find it difficult to believe she's getting good rides like that because she's actually value for her claim

The only thing I know is Mccoy can't beat her so she must be ok.

Good idea Cyc. Coming up the inside should be much more satisfying.

About a week ago they met again. AP Mccoy rode the 9-2 fav. Miss green won the race on 66-1 shot Hills of aran.

If that ex Ian Williams trained horse Joey Tibbiani was sent chasing would there be a chance Miss Rachel Green would ride it just for the gags?

Before you say don't be a silly Bluesky, do remember someone booked Jamie (frank) spencer for somemothersdoavem and he won on it - and remember all those comedy jockey bookings Hamdan Al Maktoum used to make........
