    They would just do the same as they did with Andy Carroll and make it sound like they didn't want the sale to go ahead.

    Difference being that Carroll at the time was a young 'un, not a smart one at that and one who had recently shot to fame.

    Colo is an older head, has expereinced success in the past and appears to be a genuinely nice person.

    You can't assume all footballers are the same.

    10 million plua for a 30 year old and I'm sure Ashley would take it also for Colo himself he will win trophies and get back into the Argentina aquad no doubt. It's a no brainer if this story is genuine.

    Game over new captain required and a cheap youmg defender to fill his boots and hair.

    Shows how far we've come though when half are team are deemed good enough to play at the highest level by the journo hacks.

    Beats the days when it was Spurs and Villa 'intested' in our players. <ok>

    Not gonna happen for me, Colo will go nowhere bar a silly offer. 15m obviously you'd have to think about it given his age and we paid 10m. Still though I think he'll finish his career here bar maybe a stint in his homeland or the US
