Just finished watching the Diamond Jubilee Party at Buckingham Palace. That summed up what was great about Great Britain. Anyone who didn't feel patriotic as the history of our Queen was shown should just **** off.

People can disagree to their hearts content. Normally I wouldn't even bother to criticise or defend the monarchy but after that I realised just how patriotic I am and if anyone had shown any disrespect at that time I would have told them to "**** off". That's how I felt at the time - emotional. Probably just saying what many people thought. Today is another day; I'm back to normal.
Haha, sorry understandable error. I used to be a staunch royalist but not so much these days since the events following the death of the princess of Wales which I felt the Queen could have handled better. Of course we don't know all the facts regarding Diana and it's been well documented she could be difficult at times but in her circumstances who would have been any different? Other than this the Queen hasn't put a foot wrong at least not that I know of in my lifetime. At least she is keeping Charles and that awful woman away from the throne - long may she do that!
