There is no argument actually, Dai's sole basis of argument is a ' Player Protection ' agreement between the clubs, would breach player rights? that's his sole argument, but in actual fact, the written in agreement has no jurisdiction on what a player can do, if any of our players wish to go, on their own prerogative, this agreement won't stop them, as it's merely binding on the two clubs and managers! Dragon the point is that a player doesn't apply for a job, so it's not as if he is going to go up Liverpool and ask for a job, or pop to the jobcentre looking for a football position. Liverpool are prevented from initiating a bid on a player, now there is no infringements of rights as how would a player know that his rights have been infringed ? Under contract law you can put any terms there providing its legal and it doesn't discriminate or it's unfair, now Superswan is saying there are rules in place to prevent this clause, I would like to see where these rules are, and who have them in place.
a player has the right to listen to a higher clubs interest in them if you look at both brendans and jinks quotes... you will see that jinks asked liverpool if there is a possibility that they wont come in for any of our players for at least 12 months. brendan dont want to break up what he has achieved and stated that he has agreed with jinks to give swansea a 12 month grace. now what does that mean. does it mean jinks has demanded and put a clause into brendans move or is it a gentlemans agreement between two friends...you cant be that daft not to see the difference surely to god.......and another thing should another club come in for our players then brendan has every right then to join the race for that player.... but for the time being liverpool will not come in for anyone for 12 months.....They did not have to agree to do that but they did thanks to brendan....Siggs on the other hand fair game and even though brendan wants him to join swansea he will sign him himself if siggs dont want to sign for us now....

In regards to Martinez and scotland he signed a player with less than a year left on his contract, he expressed a wish to go, do you really think the club would stand in his way ? And Gomez was a loan player in any case so not ours, so he signed one player after they offered £2m for him.
