I still dont think they were that good. You have a team that over achieved due to a good manager, you are a couple of moves away from imploding, ie appointing the wrong manager and trying to find a replacement for Holt. We under achieved, everyone knows that but it means we should do a lot better next season. We are building up the infrastructure that we never had this season, training ground, scouting etc.

Had he allowed him to talk, he may have stayed like Martinez did. You wouldnt be happy with Zamora as a replacement for Holt or Cisse who score 6 in 8 games? Taiwo and Diakite would also walk into your team. The above were all Warnock panic signings which I didnt like. Hughes signings have been much better.
