Boos as the racist goes off but not as Jagielka comes on, were the boos from our own fans as Id expect the away fans to boo both players.
They look totally toothless Norway. Pretty patterns and...........that's it!! Dirty bastards too!(Never realised Dembele was so niggly!!) Milner looks poor as did Young. England look hard to beat though! Having said that, Hodgson is playing the wrong formation with Gerrard too deep. I know a lot of you have missed my formations, so here's what England should play (If only I were the coach!!). -----------------------Hart----------------------- Johnson----------Terry-----Lescott----------Cole -----------------Parker-----Jones---------------- Walcot--------------Gerrard----------------Young -------------------Rooney/Wellbeck
Nothing gets past you Col Seriously though, even though England have hardly looked impressive under Hodgson they've won two and kept two clean sheets. Typical of a Hodgson team , seldom does more than necessary to get over the line. But it will put England in good stead before the Euro's, confidence will be good and that is what these friendlies are for imo. Especially as England know they're strongest team. Your lineup look strong Col, not easy to break that setup down I will imagine. The group you find yourself in, though tricky, is very manageable. After that it's a lottery for me. I'll have a cheeky bet myself on Portugal and CR7 to win the whole thing. Good luck
Just what is your problem? You come out with some of the most insulting posts ever on here, but when someone else, all be it in a slightly over-the-top way has a go, you have to pick them out and try to be the big know it all, big-bollocks!! What a twat you are!!
Having just flicked through this thread, looks like we've just watched different games. England went some way to reawaken my interest in the national team. Limitations in certain individuals of course; we know we lack that world class element. But entertained me as a team, including substitutions. They stayed awake throughout and because of it, so did I! Loved the involvement of Gary Neville. Looks like we've got someone in the mix that not only really cares (like Pearce) but who also knows what he's talking about (unlike Pearce perhaps). Promises a positive link with Hodgeson whose influence and game plan already appear to be taking shape. Disappointed with Belgium tbh. Some great players who I expected to tear England apart - but as someone said earlier: no teeth. Never really felt they were likely to score - even when Gillet's shot hit the post.
I think Hodgson is playing Gerrard in the wrong position and 4-4-1-1 or 4-4-2 is not going to work in the tournament. I fear we will struggle to get out of the group, but I live in hope as always!!
