well the joy of our first seasons has been a little short lived no? I really hope we both push on from this and stay up next year, but i have to say it's damaged a lot of the 'positive small responsibly run club' feelings both our clubs project to see the managers act in such a mercenary fashion, Lambert in particular.

Oh well, we will rebuild, and this may instill the urgency and danger necessary to avoid the lazy second season syndrome that so often does for new clubs!

    Head up lads, carry on!<badger>

We will all carry on and if inthe future we have succesful managers and players no doubt someone will come and take them again. But, we will continue to find new managers and new players and the fans of both clubs will always be there and be loud and proud. So onwards and upwards.

Chin up lads, both clubs run well by their respective boards, just have faith with them as, at least these people are loyal to the clubs. Same as us fans, through thick and thin.

Lambert`s decision really baffles me. He says he has taken the club as far as he can, then he wants to go to Aston Villa. Does`nt make any sense to me at all. OK Villa were a big team, but they ain`t all that big now.

Rogers the same, thinks he`s gone to a big team. Both they`re ego`s seem to have taken over and removed any sort of sense they had in their heads. Anyway rogers has gone from us and I don`t give a flying fig for what he does or does`nt do now, and I suspect the Canaries will feel the same when Lambert does finally go. Is`nt he on "gardening leave" at the moment, until his agents sort the mess out.

Both of them deserve what they get, and bollox to the both of them, big headed tarts.

Well said jackinthebox, that's exactly how i see it, but we do have a few, well maybe one that would lay the red carpet, and kiss Brenda's butt on the way out, even after all that has been done, makes you think what goes through such so-called fans numb skulls aye! Good post more of this reality we need, not kissing the hands of such disloyal ego maniac tarts!................. <cheers>

I know there has been a lot of banter between Norwich and Swansea fans but I think we have great respect for each others clubs.

I felt pretty sad to see Rodgers betray you like he did, at least that's what it looked like to me after he supposedly committed himself to Swansea and then jumped ship a few days later.

Now I know how you guys must feel. We both had great, young and promising managers. I think both should have given their respective clubs another year or two. Collectively, we have been treated rather poorly by two men that had previously made various statements suggesting they were sticking with us.

Maybe it's just the way it was handled, I suppose I would feel slightly better if it was Lambert to Liverpool, not Villa. Liverpool is a great opportunity for Rodgers but I just think he handled the situation poorly and tried to play you guys for fools (which you aren't!)

Personally, I think Lambert has made an error.

There is no loyalty in the game anymore. Grant Holt just proves it. It hurts.

Norwich fans, In case you lads missed it we had an end of season awards thread. One category was best opposition to fans to visit our site and the winners were ............. Norwich City.

My point is that there is a healthy respect between our fans and it's ironic how we've both lost our managers this week. Personally I think Lambert has taken a backwards step as I think Norwich are a far better club than Aston Villa.

Keep the faith though as both our clubs are in healthy positions and I think both will be fine next season. Hope QPR go down mind you.

The positives from all this - This whole heap of second season syndrome will not apply to either club now as no other team will 'suss' out how we play due to us being under new management and most likely a tinkered playing style! Bring on the second season I say and the second season of outrageous upsets!!

Think I would be alot more bitter if Rodgers had left for Villa, seems lambert will have a pounce for Holt, unless your chairman can do a Huw and keep Pauls dirty mitts off your talent for a year

Totally agree with this, and I believe it's a massive positive. We were getting sussed last season - against Norwich being a good example. To be honest I think Norwich have lost the better manager, who can't say that moving to villa is an ambitious move. I think we all expected Rogers to go to a bigger club so Liverpool wasn't a huge shock on reflection, but if he'd have left for villa I would have been devastated! Sorry lads, don't mean to rub it in.
Grant Holt is a toss rag too, fek him!
I'm sure we'll both get good new managers that can take our clubs forward till our success gets to their egos too, so I'll look forward to seeing you guys home and away again this season...but it's our turn for the 6 points this time ok? :D

Good luck to both clubs, hope you both get decent managers in, and all 3 promoted teams from the 10/11 Championship season are looking forward to Premiership football again this time next year :)

Hope Villa, QPR and West Ham get relegated next season.

At least Rodgers was nice enough to sign a new contract, thereby guaranteeing Swansea £5m compensation, with which you can at least soften the pain by putting it towards a new player.

Lambert, the lying treacherous bastard, categorically denied wanting to leave in a snake-like manner, then stabbed us in the back. Screw him! He can take that cheating lump Holt with him for all I care, if he no longer wants to be at Norwich.

Good to know our two sets of fans are in it together, onwards and upwards.

Let's prove that last season was the sign of things to come, besides the media still like us, so we have the press on our side, unlike QPR.

very surprised with lambert walking out on norwich for a below average team like villa. at least brendan went to a big club and we all knew that as soon as a big club came along that he would go. but lamberts choice is baffling to say the least. its not as if he is making a step up.....it just dont make any sense.....I wonder if he fell out with the board or something like that.....was he under contract? if so what compensation will norwich get?..

Been confirmed he is the new villa boss now, I am surprised as well Superswan , so the 3 promoted clubs will or do have new managers. Wonder what odds you would have got on that ?
