Henderson was very lively down the right 2 seasons back and looked destined for better things. He had much more flare back then than Colback the workhorse has ever displayed, however, I also agree that Colback is more composed, tackles and battles well, also he rarely gives the ball away cheaply -in these respects, Colback is a much more accomplished midfielder. What I do like about Colback, is that he seems to get better and better, he listens and improves -he has more potential atm than Henderson who seems to have lost his way a bit ... Massive season for Jack coming up imo
My point about Colback and goals was not to better than Henderson its to be considered for England. In the next few years we'll need to replace gerrard lampard Barry and parker think milner wilshere rodwell and cleverly are ahead of Colback and Henderson apparently
Out of that list I would place Milner, Rodwell and Cleverly about Colback - mainly because of the time they have played in the prem. I wouldn't say Wilshire is any better yet - he's missed most of this season.
Wiltshire may have missed all of last season but he is miles ahead of Colback in terms of ability, don't get me wrong I like Colback (our most improved player last year) but he is not the type of player that excites the fans, he does the bread and butter part of the game (very well) but he will never beat 3-4 on the run and finish it off with an assist or goal. If he won the ball in the middle of the park you wouldn't hear/ feel the crowd anticipating something special to happen like they would with someone like Sess.
I think Wiltshere is our best centre midfielder ability wise after Gerrard. If he can overcome his injury troubles he'll be the linchpin of the team at the world cup We should have took a young squad to the euros especially as Woy said he's already looking ahead
You wont see Wilshire beat 3 or 4 player either. He players very much like a continental player, dictating play in the middle of the park! I think Colback could become a similar player for us and maybe England!

What will he do in front of an open goal vs mags. Will he be like the rest of the devious underhanded geordie ****ers and deliberately miss.
Well it is Vince but I don't see how despite all the evidence to the contrary people still trust Geordies.
