    it is rather cheap even if he's not done great at barca.

    6mil wouldn't buy stuart downings left ball sack.... It'd be crazy not to do at the price but its all jsut paper talk

    I do agree, but then sometimes you have to take a gamble, Ben Arfa came back from a broken leg and has played to the same level. Demba Ba has a long standing knee issue, he was on fire when he initially moved to Newcastle and has featured in most of there games last season.

    It's dangerous ground to start dismissing players because of potential future injuries. For every Kieron Dyer there is a Ben Arfa. You just have to be careful and do more due dilligence when taking a punt like this for £6m.

    Newcastle took a risk with Ben Arfa, Ba, Cabaye, Marvuex (spelling), Obertan, Santon, etc. Sometimes a risk needs to be taken, at just £6m it is not a massive gamble subject to his wage demands

    I saw it on bbc gossip page too. If its fron Caught Offside then there is no smoke, I could go and write an article for that site now about us developing a timemachine to sign Pele, Maradona and Eusebio but would you believe it...???

    Oh and scored twice. Again, 6 million, got to be heavily looked at for me. Quality, not that expensive and allows room to spend an extra 4 million possibly for a higher named player ( munian for example 6xD)
