I have voted Utd. We're still a way off the final but I think Utd have a good chance of reaching Wembley and who knows even putting one over Barca.

Real. I think Jose has put his mark on them now, and they will squeez past Barca in the semi and then be that bit too good for whoever the other finalist is.

I've voted for Tottneham. I don't need to justify it but they will win it. That is all.

    I want Barca to win.

Whoever wins out of Manyoo and Chelski will get to the final IMO.

It would be good to see a Real v Chelsea final, and Mourinho further punishes Abramovich with a Real victory.

It has to be a Chelsea v Barcelona final. Chelsea are the only team capable of nullifying their immense strike-force. Barcelona seem to struggle with strong physical sides who can play as well.

You couldn't even nullify Rooney and Giggs, how do you reckon you'll cope with Messi and Villa?!

Yes, but you didn't nullify United in the "first half", so with the "second half" being played at OT, where you've only won once in the last 6 years, there's a good chance that you'll fail to nullify us again <ok>

And if you can't stop a United side, who by all accounts are "mediocre" these days, how will you stand up to the beat team in the world?

Barcelona will win this year's Champions League with relative ease.

Which idiots actually voted for Man Utd?

Not completely, no! You got your goal on the break (well worked but other than a speculative Rooney drive from 25 yds and a Nani cross which Cech handled well and a dive to feet was all you had. We didn't play well but with a bit more luck still could have run out 3-1 winners.

OT is a happy ground for us and I reckon we will push you all the way. I'm extremely confident we can go through if we raise our game just a bit more.:)

Fair enough on the rest of your post (though I think we were better than you make out), but why's OT a happy ground? Barring last year's win, you've not beat us there since 2005 - when you'd already won the title and there was nothing to play for. During that time, we've beat you 3 times, including a very easy 3-0 and comfortable 2-0.

Ah, there's those blue tinted glasses in full effect! With a bit more luck we could also have had three goals as you point out - Cech got the barest of touches to Nani's cross and had Nani not been caught by Essien he could well have gotten to the through ball ahead of Cech. And Hernandez missed a couple of headers as well. Ultimately both teams created the same number of clear cut chances, and United were the only one to take theirs :)

And how was our goal on the break?! Chelsea had ten men behind the ball when Carrick played his pass and the move started when Rafael collected a clearance from your defence! Our goal came from a period of clear possessional and territorial advantage - we'd had two corners and a free kick in the three minutes prior <ok>

We have the better record at OT than any other visiting team since the premier league started in 1992. Winning 5: Losing 6: Drawing 8: That's remaining unbeaten in 14 out of 22 games is quite a record don't you think?

Also we were the first team to beat Fergie in a cup semi final there too, I think in the league cup sometime around 2004? So its not like we are going to be intimidated or anything even if you score the first goal isn't going to change much if we can score two like last year. :)

    Game on <ok>
