Sounds like this could all go tits up and we continue with Bates and no investment:

Leeds United takeover talks: It’s all about patience now - Lorimer

When it comes to potential investment in Leeds United, my personal view is that it’s best to sit back and let the people who matter get on with talking business and doing the deals.

Whether that’s about to happen now, I really don’t know. It’s not my business to get involved and I think it’s best if everyone steps back and lets this sort itself out. I know it’s hard to be patient and everyone’s eager for news but whatever happens will be for the best, I’m certain of that.

    Rest is here:

"he saved our club, don't you know?" is all I read out of that.

Completely clueless lapdog with no balls whatsoever. What a ****ing pathetic excuse for a man.

Lorimer would make Don Revie turn in his grave. I'm ashamed to say he was one of my hero's but now a non executive director of the club, and is usually seen hanging out of the back of Bates

One of the good things to come out of any takeover will be that Lorimer will be told to **** OFF and stay away from Leeds United FC. He's a disgrace to the club and whilst as a player he gave us everything, his bum chum with Bates has been nothing short of disgusting.

How the hell can he say we're in a stable financial position when we've sold future season ticket sales, borrowed £7m to redevlop the east stand, can't afford to buy Ward, Always selling our better players, never renewing contracts for decent players and have a team worse than the one we had in L1. Its a joke and if something doesn't happen this summer you'll see fans stay away more than they did last summer and he's already 4,000 down. The fans are sick of tired promises and high prices for garbage. I think he knows it too, and expect to see something happen in the next 2-weeks.

I think we do need to be patient because its gonna take a few weeks for the buyers to sift through the books of Batesys 95 offshore companies that own us.

Hopefully the takeover will mean the end of Yorkshire Radio

I've got mixed feelings about Yorkshire Radio. If BBC Leeds hired Thom Kirwin and Eddie Gray I think I'd be happy with that.

    Marko

Its a massive drain on the club, it was perfectly fine before Yorkshire Radio and will be after.

Thom n Eddie don't work for Yorkshire Radio do they though?

Well they do the match day programme and not much else, so yes I'd imagine so.

I have mixed feelings about Lorimer. I think he was probably very hurt by what happened to the club after Ridsdale and is now scared of ambition. I think he's had the same ideas as Bates recently but for different reasons.

He's quite clearly clueless to bates real intentions which makes him stupid in my eyes.

Lorimer was a strategic move by Bates - get a club legend in to feed drivel to the morons and they will accept anything. Lorimer needs a good talking to, he is not helping the club. He should be outspoken about what Bates is doing, but while he is getting kerching in his bank account he will toe the party line. His reputation is going down faster than a whore on crack!!

In fairness he's lived in Yorkshire since he was what, 14? I even say some words with a slight hint of a Yorkshire accent just from being around my dad.

Moved down when he was 16. 16 years in Dundee will give you an accent that lives with you forever, unless you wish to lose your accent! Sheena Easton anyone.

Unfortunately the secretary I've been communicating with regarding a conversation I wanted to have with Lorimer is out of the office at the moment. It's a shame really, I complained about this article and said he should grow some balls or clear off. He's read all the previous emails I've written.
