I'm extremely immature for my age and intend to stay this way. No matter what she says.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that marijuana was made illegal because of pressure from the cotton lobby, fearful that the usefulness of hemp would cut into their trade.

The problem now is that the people marketting the drugs are making them stronger and stronger by their own methods, so the long term effects are less predictable than the more natural drug sold 10 or 15 years ago.

You must be mental. One pill puts you on a high for about 2 hours but then completely ****s you up for about 48. I've never tried it (or any other drug) myself, but I've spent enough time playing Florence bloody Nightingale.

<ok> Although I'd like to add that any kid who even considers it is bringing on their own idiotic selves.

The only reason Cigs and Alcohol is till legal is because of the tax the government get from it, if Marijuana had tax on it it would be legalised and sold in off licenses just so the government could reel in the money, the fact it's an independent source of money to some people pisses the goverment off because they can't milk some of the profit

If cannabis was legalised, then it would be taxed, obviously.

Yeah I know, but if was legalised and taxed people would want to find ways around the tax, ie growing and selling it themselves, so in the end the government banned it altogether, basically saying, it's either our way or no way at all

People could grow tobacco and brew their own beer, but most can't be arsed, tax is more likely to lead to legalisation than prevent it.

    Look what happened to Zammo.

One minute it was a can of Kestrel and a crafty splif and before he knew it he was off his tits on PCP, Mescaline, Crack and Smack.
Brassing himself out to pay for his monkey juice.

Just say no kids, just say no.

Even Roland and Janet knew to say no and they were thick as pig ****.

    Especially Roland.

    Never liked Roland.

Wasn't that keen on Janet either if truth be told.

One of my friends takes MDMA on (IMO) a far too regular basis.

It started every now and then with a bunch of sad ****s he wanted to be accepted by, now it's every weekend without fail.

He's started getting this weird jerky head movement, and his (already admittedly googly, starey eyes) have adopted a life of their own. He's ****ed his head up basically. He looks unhealthy in general as well. I don't know if this is due to drugs, or just being an ugly **** anyway, but he always looks ****ed these days.

But if you broach the subject, you get rebuffed.

He ends up taking these weird tablets every Monday you can get from Holland & Barrett that apparently replace some of the chemicals in his brain he's used up acting like a lovey-dovey ****, off his tits on MDMA, in Welly or wherever. He tried to explain the science to me once, the release in his vortex or something, that doesn't replenish quickly, resulting in his low. I think he hoped I'd be impressed. I wasn't.

Oh yeah, in the absence of MDMA, speed or coke will do.

I will not endorse it. Just say no kids.

He'll end up brassing himself out down Waterhouse.

    That's if he isn't already.

    Just say no.

But people die from these kind of drugs due to overdose, I completely agree that these drugs are seriously bad and dangerous and should be illegal to sell as they DIRECTLY effect your health much like Alcohol and Tobacco, Cannabis on the other hand doesn't directly effect or damage any of your vital organs, it doesn't damage brain cells it instead stimulates them, temporary side effects like paranoia is something people take the risk of when taking Marijuana, but it is in no way in the same categorie as Coke, Heroin or Alcohol for that matter

I think the long-term affects of these drugs can be quite head-****ing.

You sound like you have really listened intently to your Pastoral Teacher, but basically he doesnt know what he's on about either.

The old it stimulates you bollocks. Yes Paul Mccartney says this but as he is an incredibly talented man anyway not really Paul. But there are thousands of idle lazy zombies in bedsits claiming they are going to write a book/hit song/screenplay its just finding the time.

Heroin doesnt actually do the body much harm at all.

    Get googling Taylor

For hard users, the only reason people use it in hard cases is because they know it's illegal and they base their life around it, if it was legal the majority of the planet would smoke it as frequently as drinking alcohol and smoking cigs, it would reduce the War on Drugs aswell, drug dealers won't have a job if everyone was allowed to grow and buy it legallly, if not legalize it decriminalize it, the penalties in my opinion are too harsh considering the other things out there that are way more dangerous
