I think you make an excellent point Guru, you can bet your bottom dollar that the Norwich players’ agents are going to have a busy summer as they’ll want to save their clients from certain relegation.

Ithink that is where i got it wrong when i said about the players, you are correct when you say the agents pull the strings so i expect McNally to have a lot of agents on the phone.

Not being funny though supers, there is one thing that Mikey got bang on the money, and thats the fact that Lambo would leave you in actually the circumstances as he left Col Who and tesco value stadium.

but he had enough stabs in the dark before it actually happened. and are there really any norwich fans who thought it unlikely the same would happen to us? i certainly felt it would happen one day, even if i thought it more likely to be next season! it'll happen to villa too when manchester united come calling in three years time... <ok>

He also predicted that we would eclipse Derby County's unwanted record of 11 (eleven) points from the entire season. So you do have to separate a grain of wheat from several tons of chaff <ok>

    Thanks Beef,

This could all turn out pretty badly for Holt here. As far as I know there are no offers on the table and he has really allienated the fans now and I can see no way back from that unless he can do a "Tevez".

What if Lambert going to Villa falls through like it has done with Solskjaer and Martinez or once he get's there decides to keep Bent? I can't see Bent and Holty in the same team TBH and a fit Bent is great at tucking chances away. Holt has 2 years left on his contract that takes him upto 33 then I can't see anyone else going in for him if we have no takers now?

I wouldn't worry about Holt being a "Tevez" What McNally is saying is that he isn't going to be mugged off on Holt, Give us a deal or don't bother talking to us.

All I'm saying is that this could be a dangerous move for Holt. He could end up playing the next 2 years in the reserves if it goes belly up. I haven't heard of clubs exactly queing at the door to sign him!

If Villa goes wrong he could be in very awkward postion. He may well end up at Leicester like Beckford did or another Championship club.

Lets have a little honesty here. There were only ever going to be two scenarios in which PL would leave.

    1. He was dismissed by the club - which was never likely to happen.

    2. He was poached, tapped up (call it what you will) and he resigns.

If you bang on about the more obvious choice (No2) he was always going to be right eventually. It is hardly rocket science or indeed an intelligent assessment.

I could tell you every year for the next 20 years that Liverpool are going to win the PL, the chances are pretty good that I would be right - eventually! It wouldn't make me mystic Meg all of a sudden would it <doh>

i am fully aware of everything holt has done for our club - but for our captain to come out on twitter, the day after lambertgate - cant help but think alot less of him...

i wonder if holt is fully aware how much our club has done for him?

it is disrespectful, i have to say <ok>

but the guy doesn't technically owe us anything and neither did lambert. it's his job to play football - he isn't a norwich fan. there aren't many people who have done as much as those two individuals for our club in recent years.
