Firstly, the Swans chairman stating there is transfer embargo for 12 months, so it might be that we can't sign Dyer or Sinclair to bolster our wide positions. Reminiscent of the 70's strips, to my mind. Hope we get the success to match..
we don't need those guys. philosophy is what we bought.... half of what swansea did was pressing and closing down high up and then the chances came..... none of those guys bar maybe allen are going to play top 4. if he can get downing to close dwon and such... stop the back passing when guys are in good positions... well then some but not all of our lot will look better players
Interesting. Suggests that the board pretty much have the 'director' positions filled already and they were involved in the decision making process as well. Maybe we'll be seeing more announcements soon.

"We will embrace the unconventional" By sacking the manager after winning a title and reacting to kneejerk media headlines about 8th. That's been done before, Johnny. It's a conventional device used by many clubs. The unconventional view would've been to see there's **** all difference between 5th and 17th once you're in Europe, apart from the money from the league, and it's a dumbass who pushes all their player resources into a hopeless case, so once 4th was gone we really shouldn't have expected anything league-wise.
Well that is quite clearly not true. And KK didn't win the title, he won the Carling Cup, a cup that Birmingham won the year before. It's great he got us back to winning ways but it's not like he won us the CL before getting sacked, as will be the case for di Matteo
