I think he could offer something a little different for us and would welcome the signing, although in all honesty was hoping for a bigger signing.

I always thought he was a pretty good player, but seemed to pick up frequent injuries and lacked goals...he will get a few, but will likely miss more and then pick up an injury. If you can keep him fit, and that is a big IF then he is a quality player, as I'm sure you saw last season at Craven Cottage. He's only had one fully fit season at FFC and he got double figures. Ironically him and Zamora were the partnership that season, which proved to be incredibly fruitful, but I hardly think Hughes would drop Cisse to accomodate AJ.
Can't see AJ as anything other than a backup and we've enough of them. I think he'll take the Arab money...
