I prefer simplicity. I'd be happy with a copy of the pre-season team photo. And if JB's still with us at that point, stick a cross-hairs on his grinning mug.
The other season defining image, along with th squirrel, would be a red card. Or nine red cards or however many we got into end.
How about a rollercoaster ride weaving it's way around the ground with all the team on board, arms aloft, cisse screaming etc but with adel riding the other way on a bus and Barton 20 meters in front of the lead car cutting through the steel work with a hack saw.
Ok its a montage: Gerrard Depardieu eating a kitten pie whilst being pissed on by a Ryanair stewardess . I like it the idea i mean everyone puts in what they need to see on the banner and i can put together a montage everyone is happy

DT seems to know what he's talking about. All I know is that those wanting to submit ideas need to create an artwork of roughly the same shape as our current top image. All submissions get judged by poll and the one that wins is put to Maltese Mick as site owner to replace the current image. Having seen other boards go through the process of installing their chosen design, the whole thing takes a fair bit of time.
Seems to me that, given the difficulties in replacing these images, our design needs to be something that has more to do with the character / nature of the club and should not be locked into a particular period (e.g. last season) or group of players / manager etc. that fall out of date too quickly. Quite a few boards pick images of their ground...
Couple of great pics, though personally I feel it should be with our blue and white hoops and not the away kits. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Great images Norway, especially the Great Escape spoof. Problem for me is that they'll be 'out of date' by next season and it's so hard changing the image.
Similarly this accurate summary of last season from our 1979: http://www.not606.com/showthread.php...=1#post2815552
The stadium is timeless and would easily get my vote, with maybe all our club emblems through the years embeded. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
Personally my vote goes to give DT complete artistic freedom on this one. It could be a work of a mad genius or just completely off the wall.....
As long as he's not going through some sort of Dali style pennance, we could end up with a soft cheese John Terry hanging over a crossbar...
Sorry Brix n all...should have dug up and resurected the old thread rather than creating a new one! I have a nice picture hanging on my wall of all the QPR shirts through the years...could make for a good design, although may be pretty difficult to find all the appropriate images etc. Not really my area so will leave it to the experts, but looking forward to seeing some ideas and casting a vote!
