Nah, my sauce tells me that he has already agreed the fee for 60% controlling percentrage of Leeds United and Ken Bates will keep his remaining percentage, Lowy is flying over to take a look around ER and TA and is willing to pay more than any other parties interested. He was interested a few years back but Ken Bates wasn't interested in selling then but now he is and was told that he would be notified if Ken Bates ever did decide to sell

Can you really see bates keeping 40% and not having a controlling share? For me he'll either sell 30ish% or all of his 70-odd%
I get that bit. But would he really want someone else 'gambling' his money on players rather than hotels/casinos etc?
Bates could keep his shares cos this guy will invest loads the club will get the heights of the prem then Bates will flog his remaining for a lot more than they are worth now, unless he dies before that.
