    I'd prefer it if they did sing the anthem but sacking would be too harsh. It's different with GSTQ anyway, not every Englishman is royalist.

    It always gets me that the problem, even atheists, have with the NA is the monarch bit

    would have thought the God bit would want the likes of yourself preferring NOT to sing it

    We (England) do have a **** national anthem, it's true. Why can't we have "Always Look on The Bright Side of Life" from The Life of Brian, that'd cheer things up a bit? Or if we must have "God Save The Queen," let's have the Pistols version.

    Englands National Anthem is 'Land of hope and Glory' which is actually quite good.

    My favourite NA is the French one which is brilliant when a full stadium is belting it out.

    GSTQ, the UK anthem, is boring as ****.

    I think Flower of Scotland is ****e too.

    Apart from that......

    I think national anthems as a rule are a bit crappy tbh

    but if you are going to have one it shouldnt be monarchy related

    Never understood why they don't use that tune for the Fitba'.

    I think Scotland should revert back to "Scots Whae Hae" as the National Anthem.

    looks like its going to have to be a 'see me after class'

    This is why teaching is so hard, they closed the special schools and let some ******s into the mainstream
    take up all the time

    funny thing I taught for 2 years a long time ago and you go on about it
    yet youre on here morning noon and night with your various accounts for numerous years and still havent grasped how it works

    Its weird that really IMO, as for most of the sports the teams become England, Scotland, Wales etc not UK or Britain
    yet the anthem GSTQ persists
