Yep that's him. Nothing really on the ITK front since then apart from NW's imminent departure. I don't know if I'm reading too much into it but DJ seemed almost frozen out after the leaking of the team news. Now it looks as if he's off and the ITK stuff comes back?

I'm not massively impressed either BUT give the bloke a chance! I seem to remember lots of underwhelmed people when we signed Hill and Derry. Hughes has obviously seen something in him that he likes.

Sorry, these two are way below par now. I'm thinking of players of the calibre of Cisse. The two aforementioned aren't in the same league.

Wow, wonderful insight from a student in the USA who is a Gunners fan. Go to games much? I think your soccerball knowledge should stay 3,500 miles east. You have no say on here, now ****-off. #******

    USA USA USA!!!

What would you know about football you blood lusting, 25 Stone ignoramus? Go and bang your drum for your carnage wreaking, doped up, mass murdering military.

When you've had your fill of that, then you can come back on here with us Civilized folk and we'll contemplate letting you debate us.

Until then keep it zipped, Chuck.

    USA USA USA!!!

Hope he is off to United Arab Emirates as it read. IMO he could go to USA too as long he isn't coming anywhere near Loftus Road.

So I have another mate, A Spuds supporter who is a Fulham season ticket holder (okay doesn't seem feasible...but it is true) and he says the whole reason that Fulham have been so successful previously is the Zamora/Johnson axis. They bring the best out in each other....he says together they are worth 25 goals (!) a season.

And I thought fulhams success was down to Clint Dempsey...stupid me, but I am only a girl!

Have to agree. It's a Zamora or Johnson choice - one or the other; but not both. We have Zamo... we need to be looking elsewhere and bringing in talent from elsewhere (or even younger talent who can grow into the forward line we currently have). Be disappointing waste of resources in my view.

Prefer DJ to AJ to be honest. Get DJ fit and he will score. Would be good as an impact sub and in the cup runs that we are going to have now that we are an established Premier League Team!!!!!!
Problem is MH likes him but we don't need anymore injury prone players, we have more "sick notes" than an ER department on a Friday night.

Imagine when they find out that their biggest signing this summer will be when Leroy Lita re-joins from Swansea <laugh>

Personally I have no problem with us signing AJ. I would be worried if Hughes hadn't worked with him before, but as he has I'm very comfortable with letting him get on with business. And as we will not offer more than a two year deal on resonable wages and he's on a free I reckon it's a good deal.

There is no doubt that when AJ plays he gives 100%, whether his 100% is enough is at the very least debateable. To me there is no end product 6 goals in 3 years is a joke and 3 of them were against a joke of a team to be honest.

MH come on there are better options there must be.

TBH this is just a rumour. I believe that MH and the new DOF know exactly who we will be signing and from their recent comments i have no doubt that they will be getting in decent players and moving us forward.
So if they think AJ is right for the club we should trust them.
saying all that i think most of the names mentioned won't be anywhere near LR.

Too right Ellers. We also have to remember that the squad is now in transition from Championship winners and first year strugglers to (hopefully) solid Prem status and ultimately something a bit more ambitious. We should expect to see some short term, stop gap signings in this context.
