What with computer crashes, shake ups at work, and putting in for severance.... and revising 6 hours a day for my daughters A S levels.... I am exhausted!

If I remember correctly, Clive Rice was in the same Notts team as Sir Richard Hadlee.

    evening all :)

happy for you NZ, a daughter sleeping through the night and a wonderful, though slightly scary trip coming up..sounds great! Have a good one, enjoy, take it in your stride, and good luck :)

Yorkie, isn't she the one who's supposed to be revising? lol

At least they are getting down to it. A certain someone seems to be doing a LOT of work to prepare. That and tweeting lol. Best of luck to all three.

A fine all rounder - pity his career coincided with South Africa's international ban. I was lucky enough to see him in his prime in the late 70's during the World Series Cricket in Australia.

    Morning all.

Apparently the letters re redundancy are coming out last week..... so I should be able to finally make the step after 8 weeks of HR shananigans..... apparently 500 out of 3000 Univ staff enquired.... really has stressed me up, not knowing......

Anyway have a good day. I take my 91 year old mum to visit her 88 year old sister in Bridgend, S Wales this w/e... just hope no one has a fall etc etc....

Morning all, a bright blue sky and no breeze, with highs up in the 30Cs this afternoon forecast. Must get out with the watering can pronto before the sun gets over the trees.

Have a good day what ever you are planning.<ok>

    Morning all

Low cloud over the hilltops today but it should lift as the day goes on. Done an hour and a half on the Pennine Way this morning. Mrs H and I will take a more leisurely walk around Malham Tarn this afternoon, eat out at a recommended Hettle pub this evening, before heading south again on Saturday morning.
