BRENDAN Rodgers has urged Gylfi Sigurdsson to sign for Swansea City â but the midfielder could yet end up at Liverpool. Full Story : http://www.thisissouthwales.co.uk/Gylfi-told-stick-Swans/story-16248460-detail/story.html
Well if we don't hear today that he has signed, I think we can assume that he will never sign for us. Trying to be optimistic with this so thinking positive thoughts only.
Fair play. Also states that he will not consider making a move unless Gylfi doesn't sign. So, he does love us.
I suspect he already knows that Sigurdsson is not going to sign for The Swans'. With that knowledge,he can play the role of the decent ex manager. Perhaps I am being too cynical
Hrm...huw sounded a little despondent about this just now...He said Gylfi is away on holiday and they hope to get it sorted next week, and that "they have done all they can".... :s
Preparing us for bad news then, okay we can forget he is coming to us I think, and if jones takes over its a cert he's not coming back the same for caulker
Wow, you could leave for the game at 2:55 and still make the kick-off. (not that you would probably want to). The guy who sits next to me arrives consistently about 3 minutes after kick-off - just can't see the point (don't think he ever missed a goal though). I like to get in about 2:30 and watch the warm-up.
Rodgers better worry about his own urges , the urge to leave Watford springs to mind or the urge to sign McEachran is another beauty . Sig will sign or not , if there is any hesitation , I'd prefer he didn't .
not true, no quotes there from brendan either he kind of dodged the question in the interview too gyfi will be off
Rodgers can't lose so he is playing the good guy again. Cynically, all it takes is a phone call to Siggy saying that if he doesn't sign for the Swans then Liverpool would be interested.....
To be fair, Siggy is on holiday and if Rodger's hadn't left the transfer would've gone through by now. He may well still be commited to joining and will finish it up when he gets back. Either way there's not a lot we can do about it so we'll just have to hope Rodgers doesn't tap him up.
We shall have to wait and see what happens no good speculating. If he signs then fantastic, if he does get lured to Liverpool, then good luck to him.
Cant agree more with this. If he is honest then fair enough but I think he is doing exactly as you suggest
